New Claymore Dual Ethereum + Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak AMD + NVIDIA GPU Miner 14.1 Beta

Claymore has updated his dual Ethereum plus DCR, SC, LBRY, PASC, Blake2s and Keccak AMD and Nvidia GPU miner to version 14.1 bringing some extra performance with built-in memory straps with optimized timings for AMD GPUs along with some new features, improvements and bug fixes. Version 14.0 Beta of the miner has added the ability to apply optimized memory timings (straps) on-the-fly without the need to reflash the video BIOS (Windows only for now) for AMD Polaris GPUs giving you up to 20% boost in performance, 14.1 extends the support for AMD VEGA GPUs with up to 15% boost in performance. Claymore is apparently also working on implementing support for Nvidia GPUs as well in order to avoid the need to use external software along with his miner for the extra memory boost.

We remind you that the Claymore Dual Ethereum miner is a closed source software with a built-in developer fee of 1% by default, though you can disable the dev fee at the cost of slightly slower performance. You can read what is the full list of changes in the latest version 14.1 below:

– “strap” option: added support for Vega cards, up to 15% speedup compared to stock BIOS. Use “-strap 1” … “-strap 5” values and overclock memory to find the best hashrate.
– improved compatibility with AMD 18.x drivers.
– now miner uses CUDA10 runtime library for Nvidia.
– a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

Latest version is v14.2 Beta – Supercharged Edition:
– “strap” option: added support for Nvidia 10xx cards, up to 10% speedup for 1050/1060/1070 cards, up to 50% speedup for 1080/1080Ti cards compared to stock BIOS.
Use “-strap 1” … “-strap 3” values and overclock memory to find the best hashrate.
– a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

Siacoin? Have they not fork to a different algo?

Yes, SiaCoin has forked to a slightly different algorithm a while ago, but there is SiaClassic with the old algo. Though with ASIC miners for both available it is pretty useless to GPU mine either of it…

Latest version is v14.3 Beta – Supercharged Edition:
– fixed BSOD issue with Vega cards.
– improved handling memory timings for Nvidia.
– “strap” option for Nvidia cards: added “-strap 4″…”-strap 6″ options, they have less intensity than straps #1..3 so you can try to use them if you cannot use even “-strap 1” option.

Latest version is v14.4 Beta – Supercharged Edition:
– improved mining speed for Nvidia cards by about 1% (depends on card model). Note that dual mining for Nvidia cards suffers from this optimization, use old versions if you use dual mining on Nvidia cards.
– a bit reduced intensity of all Nvidia straps.
– added “-sintensity” option to adjust strap intensity for Nvidia cards, see Readme for details.

Latest version is v14.5 Beta – Supercharged Edition:
– added “-rxboost” option for AMD Polaris cards, use “-rxboost 1” to improve hashrate by about 5% by applying some additional memory timings. You can use your own straps or use “-strap” option, you will get boost anyway.
– fixed issue with overclock reset for Nvidia cards
