Download CUDAminer Nvidia GPU Miner With Blake-256 Support

The latest beta version of cudaminer has support for the Blake-256 algorithm available, however there is still no official release available compiled for windows that has the new code with Blake algorithm support, so we have compiled it and provide it to you for download. So far the Blake-256 algorithm is only used by two crypto currencies – Blakecoin (BLC) and Photon (PHO), but the good news that if more come out you will be already ready to mine them with Nvidia GPUs as well. Note that the hashrate you will be getting mining Blake-256 crypto currencies will be in megahashes and not in the kilohashes range and that is pretty normal for this algorithm. Mining on AMD GPUs will still bring significantly higher performance than on Nvidia, but still you can mine on Nvidia as well.

Hi, when I try to run a .bat with this install it gives me a missing MSVCP100.dll error. This is strange since I’ve run many different instance of cudaminer on my machine and never got this error. Any advice? I’ve looked around and tried different fixes for the error to no avail. Also, not sure if it matters, but there’s always been another zip included with the other instances of cudaminer, a folder containing source files to unzip and include in the program folder. This isn’t included in the blake version.

John, you probably don’t have the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 installed, install it and you should have no more problems running it: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
This is not an official release, we have just compiled the latest source with VS2012 (the official ones are probably using VS2010), there is still no official release compiled with Blake-256 support released from the cudaminer author.
