ccminer-1-5-39-git-spmod

We have compiled a new windows binary from the latest code of the ccMiner 1.5.39-git SP-MOD fork of the Nvidia GPU miner optimized for Maxwell-based video cards by SP (source). This version includes some more fixes and multiple performance improvements in the different supported algorithms with increase in the hashrate for all X-based algorithms since the last binary we have compiled some days ago. So if you are mining with Nvidia Maxwell GPUs you might want to be always up to date with the latest version. The SP-MOD fork is designed for running on Nvidia Maxwell GPUs such as the already available GTX 750, 750 Ti as well as the newer GTX 960, GTX 970 and GTX 980. The windows binary release we have made available here is compiled with support for Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 GPUs or with other words only for Maxwell-based cards with CUDA 6.5 and VS2013.

Work bad on my 750ti.
I set the min intensity, but pc still go slow.
The hashrate is good (before 1,7mhash,now 2,25mhash with x15 algo)
Extranonce subscription work well.
The problem remain with use of pc (i don’t pretend watch video, but write on forum or other site.In this moment the word i write have a lag of 1 sec)

Hi,

I Have not been able to get any of the last 3 (1.5.36,1.5.38 or 1.5.39) versions of ccminer working on either of my nvidia 750ti based rigs.

The result is the same weather using the supplied x11 .bat file or my own .bat that works with 1.5.32

I have tried using drivers 344.91 and 347.52

The cmd window displays initially like it is working properly but I get no hashrate, only “Retry after 30 seconds” in red text recurring every 30 seconds

Do you have any insight or suggestions as to what to try next to fix this problem?

Regards, Dave

daniel, you can try running with lower intensity (-i option, try values below 20).

Dave, this is a weird issue, have you tried running with lower intensity as this is one of the things that has been changed between versions?

Hi admin,

Thanks for your reply :-)

I have now tried setting -i to a few different settings between 10 and 17 none of which has made any difference. I did not have -i set at all in my .bat previously, just let ccminer handle that.

Does latency affect the newer versions any differently? I live in rural Australia and my ping to US servers is typically 500ms – 800ms.

Willing to donate a couple of days mining to admin or anyone else that comes up with a fix :-)

Regards, Dave

Hi Guys,

Just thought I would post this here incase anyone else came across a similar issue as I have found a work around.

I found that connecting to Nicehash with any version of ccminer newer than 1.5.32 would give the “Retry in 30 sec” error but pointing the miners somewhere else (such as Yaamp.com) works fine.
