It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
Yesterday the announcement of the upcoming ZeusMiner Volcano Scrypt ASIC was the main news coming from Zeus. However they have also launched something else new that kind of went unnoticed – they have started selling Scrypt cloud mining hashrate for their ZeusHash cloud mining service. The price per MHS is currently set at $16 USD and apparently it includes the maintenance fees as nothing is mentioned about extra fees, the contract duration is 12 months. This price is currently the lowest among cloud mining services offering Scrypt cloud mining hashrate, especially considering that there are no extra fees mentioned and you can get extra 5% discount by paying with crypto currency. The drawback is that currently the cloud mining service offers very basic functionality, thought Zeus is apparently already working on a new version of their ZeusHash cloud service and we are probably going to see it soon (less than a month according to the countdown) or even earlier for people that purchase cloud mining hashrate now as they should be able to beta test the service earlier according to Zeus. We have already purchased some hashrate to test the process out, do note that the orders are being processed manually, so it may take a while before your account and hashrate are available.

The successor of the NiceHash Control tool is now here and it is called Miner Control. The software from the same author, StuffOfInterest on Bitcointalk, is built on top of the basic profit switching algorithm use in NiceHash Control, but now comes with more pools supported. With Miner Control you are now able to switch between the most profitable pool among the following:NiceHash, TradeMyBit and YAAMP. There is also a manual configurations support for last resort backup pool also available, something that we have implemented in the form of a workaround for our mining packages that we have released for AMD and Nvidia that were using the NiceHash Control tool some time ago. We are soon going to be updating these packages to take advantage of the new features and functionality that the Miner Control offers, but meanwhile you can check out the new application and read about all of the new features and options it offers and also do your own configurations pairing it with a miner of your choice.

The cloud mining service Genesis Mining has lowered the prices of their Scrypt mining hashrate down from $79 USD per MHS to $49 USD per MHS for 1 year contracts. For 20 MHS contract you will no longer have to pay $1380 USD, but $880 USD instead and for 100 MHS cloud mining Scrypt contract the price is down from $5900 USD to $3900 USD. These prices are for 1 year mining contract and they include all of the fees associated such as for hosting, electricity and maintenance, so there is nothing extra that you need to pay. You can also get an extra 5% discount from the regular price by using the promo code CryptoMiningBlog5…
With the current market conditions the only way for you to manage to break even on a small hashrate investment during the duration of the mining contract is if the price and network difficulty for Litecoin remains the same as it is at the moment for 1 year and we know that this is not going to happen. Putting a more reasonable number like 3-5% increase at the current price there is no chance to even ROI in a year with the 100 MHS contract where you get a lower per MHS price. If you are going to bet on an increase of the price of LTC as usual it is better to just buy Litecoins instead of investing in cloud mining service that does not give you promising result when you run the numbers over a mining calculator. As usual when you are considering to invest in either cloud or real mining hardware do your math carefully and then decide if it is worth to go for it or not…
