Isracoin (ISR) is a crypto currency for Israel. It is based on Scrypt and is 10% premined. The premined coins will be distributed to the population of Israel and Israeli businesses, commencing on May 6th at midnight in accordance with the plan set forth.

The Isracoin follows in the footstep of other “national” crypto currencies, but it will be interesting if it will succeed where others have failed. The major problem with these coins is that if they have large premine and when people start getting their free coins they dump them on a exchanges to get some cash and this essentially ruins them. So it will be interesting to see how thing will go with ISR, will it go just like AUR or not, for a moment Isracoin has briefly climbed up to then 4th place in terms of market capitalization, but it didn’t manage to stay there for long.

GHash.IO With a New Multpool Mining Feature With Automatic Profit Switching

The cloud mining service CexIO has introduced new interesting feature on their mining pool GHash.io, namely multipool mining with automatic switching to mine the most profitable crypto coin. The Multi Pool Pro as the service calls its new feature uses the integration with the other services and features such as Bitcoin cloud mining and trading and all goes under a single account. This new feature will be drawing some users for sure as the policy of 0% mining fee for the pool is something that is attractive for many miners. Since the service is still very new the hasrate at the Multipool is not that high, though it is already past 1.5 GHS and continues to grow.

The list of currently supported crypto currencies for the multipool feature include: LTC, MEC, DGB, AUR, WDC, FTC, SXC, DOGE, 42 and CAT. And since the CexIO account balance is being used not all of these coins are supported and you need to use the auto conversion features that allows you to get the mined coins automatically converted to either BTC or LTC. There is also an option to not autoconvert LTC, DOGE, FTC and AUR as you have wallets available for these cryptos inside the service already available.

Cryptotrader With Support for Kraken and Bitfinex Exchanges

The automated bot trading service Cryptotrader has just officially announced the addition of support for trading on two new exchanges – Kraken and Bitfinex. These two exchanges are added along with the already supported Bitstamp, BTC-E and CexIO, the service previously also supported MtGox, but not anymore for obvious reasons. This is essentially the first solution for automated cloud trading on crypto exchanges to provide support for trading on Kraken, a particularly interesting place for trading in Europe due to the large EUR trading volume on the exchange.

If you haven’t tried the service yet, you might want to check our review of Cryptotrader first. We can add to that already that the service still suffers from one major problem and that is letting users know about new features on time, a clear example for that is the announcement about the new exchanges… they have actually been available for a while already, more than a week for Kraken and close to a month for Bitfinex. So they really have to do something about letting their users know about new features and improvement in a more clear way and not just send a newsletter once in a while to sum things that have happened in the past two months for example.
