It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
We liked the LTC Rabbit Scrypt mining pool as soon as we have tried it for the first time a few weeks ago when DOGE was in its peak in terms of higher profitability compared to LTC. The pool has been running stable and reliable and had a nice altcoin bonus on top of the earnings if directly mining for LTC, so a perfect choice for a backup pool that will still ensure higher profitability than directly mining for Litecoins. However lately there haven’t been any extra altcoin bonus been given by the pool and it was mining LTC most of the time anyway. The reason for that was that DOGE was not so profitable to mine anymore and the other alternative cryptos such as WDC or MEC did not perform any better than directly mining for LTC. It seems that the pool has added a few more newer and supposedly more profitable alternative cryptos including the lately very popular AUR crypto, so that it can start giving away extra altcoin bonuses again. We still have the pool as our backup mining pool and our primary one for the moment remains ScryptGuild, so check that one as well if you still haven’t.

In our efforts to make the Gridseed 5-chip GC3355-based ASIC miner devices to work in Dual Mode for mining Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) at the same time under Windows we have compiled the special modified version of cgminer 3.8.5 that is designed to work with the Gridseed miners. You need to use this special version for mining BTC or to use the ASIC in Dual Mode where this software will be used for the Bitcoin mining part and the modified cpuminer will be used for LTC mining. Note that in order for this cgminer to detect your ASIC miner device you need to install a WinUSB driver over the virtual COM to USB driver, but a detailed guide will follow, so stay tuned. Meanwhile you can download cgminer 3.8.5 for BTC mining on Gridseed 5-chip GC3355 ASICs from the link below in order to give it a try for Bitcoin mining.

Nowadays it is hard to always keep track on new promising coins and to jump on the train as early as possible in order to be able to mine more coins at low difficulty. Even if you do there is no guarantee that the new coin you have mined plenty of will be catch users attention and the exchange rate will skyrocket, so you will be able to make good profit. Another alternative is to look for changes in the top crypto currency market capitalization and jump on coins that have been available for a while, but that just recently started to rapidly increase in market capitalization.
For example the fairly new AuroraCoin that has been premined has managed to secure the third place in no time in terms of market capitalization, getting ahead of Litecoin. Dogecoin has fallen down to the 6th place and could continue to drop down in the list. Another new coin that has caught a lot of attention lately thanks to the AUR fame by being something similar as an idea is MazaCoin that has already secured the 17th place in terms of market cap. So if you have already missed the Auroracoin trading (Scrypt algorithm) and still haven’t checked the MazaCoin (SHA-256 algorithm) you still might have some time to mine a bit of MZC before the difficulty has skyrocketed, especially if you have a Bitcoin ASIC mining BTC at the moment.
If you want to be able to easily track what is going on in terms of crypto currency market capitalization, then you should keep an eye on the coinmarketcap website that has all the date you need in a simple and clean interface. Currently the website is tracking 146 crypto currencies and covers all of the major ones along with many of the new cryptos that are getting released and are not just a new pump and dump money making coins.
