ccminer-compute-2-support

The support for older Nvidia-based GPUs using Compute 2/2.1 architecture (Fermi) has been dropped in the more recent versions of ccMiner in order to focus and improve performance on the newer Compute 3 and 3.5 (Kepler) as well as 5 (Maxwell) GPUs. It seems however there are still quite a few people that are using Fermi-based Nvidia graphic cards to mine crypto coins with, so this is something they may find useful. There is a fork of ccMiner compiled with support for Compute 2.0/2.1 (Fermi) GPUs as well as the newer Compute 3.x+ cards. To ensure support for Compute 2.x however the support for Jackpotcoin, Quark and Animecoin is not available as the code for these in ccMiner apparently requires at least Compute 3.0 support. This fork however adds Diamondcoin support that is not available in the original ccMiner release.

ccminer-new-x11-performance-update-780-ti

The ccMiner software miner for Nvidia GPUs has received another update of the source code with improved performance for X11 algorithm mining, so you should be getting higher hashrate when mining crypto currencies such as DarkCoin. We have compiled a binary for Windows that you can find below and try on your Nvidia GPU. The performance that the current optimized code for X11 offers on our test GeForce GTX 780 Ti GPU is almost 4.7 MHS (non overclocked) and with the previous 1.0 release of ccminer we were getting hashrate of about 2.8 MHS when mining DarkCoin. On a GTX 750 Ti you are probably going to get pretty much the same performance that a Radeon R9 280X currently has for X11 mining or about 2 MHS or slightly more. So now Nvidia clearly has the advantage in X11 mining in terms of performance over AMD.

Do note that the windows binary you can download below is compiled for Compute 3.0, 3.5 and 5.0 cards (32-bit version only), so it will not work on older cards. It is also compiled with Visual Studio 2012, so if you do not already have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 you will have to download and install it, otherwise you may be getting error for a missing DLL library.

ccminer-1-0-x11-support

The ccMiner software miner for Nvidia GPUs has received another update of the source code this time adding support for the X11 algorithm for GPU mining crypto currencies such as DarkCoin. We have compiled a binary for Windows that you can find below and try on your Nvidia GPU. It seems that the performance that the current code for X11 offers on Nvidia hardware is pretty similar to what you can get on AMD. On a GeForce GTX 780 Ti we are getting hashrate of about 2.8 MHS when mining DarkCoin.

Do note that the windows binary you can download below is compiled for Computer 3.0, 3.5 and 5.0 cards (32-bit version only), so it will not work on older cards. It is also compiled with Visual Studio 2012, so if you do not already have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 you will have to download and install it.
