It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
There is apparently a new ASIC miner coming right around the corner called TODDMINER C1 for the Eaglesong algorithm used by the Nervos (CKB) project. The device is made by a new Chinese company with the Toddminer being their first ASIC device apparently. TODDMINER C1 promises to deliver 1.6 TH/s hashrate with 1100 Watts of power usage, a significant improvement over the existing FPGA miners with support for the algorithm. The new ASIC is priced at 28800 Chinese Yuan or about $4100 USD with shipping about to start in March, so in just a few days from now.
Currently a BlackMiner F1 Ultra FPGA manages to do just about 26.5 GH/s with about the same power usage and a daily revenue of about $9 USD, however that is about to change with the new much higher hashrate ASIC miner. So bad news for HashAltcoin and their FPGA miners and the people that use them as CKB was the best performing and most profitable project to mine for a few months already.

The latest SRBMiner-MULTI CPU and AMD GPU Miner version 0.2.0 has added support for another RandomX variant, namely the RandomV algorithm (MoneroV) as well as some additional tweaks, you can find the full changelog below. The previous release has also added support for the RandomSFX algorithm (SafexCash), so you can say that there is revival for CPU mining lately centered around RandomX, unfortunately that also has some negative side effects such as botnets mining. We’ll see how things go and for how long RandomX will remain in the CPU mining domain only with the growing interest around it and with many different variations becoming available as well.
SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 0.2.0 beta changelog:
– Added RandomV algorithm (MoneroV)
– Added –randomx-use-tweaks, to select the MSR tweak/s to apply
– Added RandomX tweak support for Intel Core2 processors

The latest TT-Miner 3.2.0 Beta 8 comes with added support for the Kadena (Blake2S) algorithms algorithm used by the Kadena (KDA) project that was recently launched and started with CPU and solo mining initially. Now there is a pool available for mining KDA – IceMining and you can use the latest TT-Miner Beta release to GPU mine Kadena on Nvidia GPUs, there is a miner available for the AMD GPU owners as well – SRBMiner-MULTI 0.1.8. Have in mind that since KDA uses Blake2S is is apparently also already available for FPGA miners such as BittWare CVP-13 that is powered by Xilinx VU13P FPGA, also available for Xilinx VU9P (BCU1525 and BTU9P) FPGAs with slower hashrate and others may be coming out with support soon as well, so GPU mining might not be viable for long.
Do note that if you get a missing DLL error when trying to run the miner on Windows you may need to download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019.
TT-Miner supports ProgPOW, Ethash, UBQhash, MTP, Lyra2REv3, Epic, EagleSong and Kadena (Blake2S) algorithms on Nvidia GPUs and is available for Windows and Linux as pre-compiled binaries, a closed source miner with 1% developer fee for all of the supported algorithms.
