The latest GMiner 2.43 Nvidia and AMD GPU miner continues improving on Ethash support including compatibility with pools as well as new kernels for Nvidia. The latest update adds two new kernels for Ethash, so that now the miner support 5 kernels for Nvidia GPUs in order to ensure optimal performance depending on your GPU. Gminer automatically selects the optimal kernel by default, but you can also select specific kernel by the --oc command line parameter. The latest version also brings improved handling of device freezing as well as improved auto-tuning.

GMiner 2.43 Nvidia and AMD GPU miner changelog:
– improved compatibility with Ethash pools (shardpool.io)
– improved handling of device freezing
– improved auto-tuning
– added two kernels for Ethash, miner support 5 kernels for Nvidia GPUs, miner automatically select optimal kernel, also you can select specific kernel by --oc parameter

The GMiner miner software was originally only an Nvidia GPU miner, although some algorithms are already supported on AMD GPUs as well. Do note that GMiner is a closed source miner for Nvidia and AMD GPUs with binaries available for both Windows and Linux, there is standard 2% developer fee built-in the software, though Ethash fee is 0.65% and KAWPOW fee is 1%, but there are some fees that go higher than 2% as well!

The latest GMiner 2.07 Nvidia and AMD GPU miner continues improving the Cuckatoo32 performance with the latest update capable of delivering up to +20% performance boost depending on the GPU and OC mode used according to the developer. Definitely a nice improvement worth an updating if you are mining anything that uses the Cuckatoo32 algo, but also have in mind that the default developer fee for the Cuckatoo32 algorithm is set at 3% and is not the standard 2% as for most other algorithms supported by GMiner.

The latest GMiner 2.05 Nvidia and AMD GPU miner continues improving the recently added Qitmeer (PMEER) support that proved to have quite big demand for CPU power initially. The previous version 2.04 of the miner has improved the situation a bit with the introduction of an additional parameter to reduce CPU load, but the latest update does this even better. The CPU usage has been decreased significantly and should now be fine for GPU mining rigs with lower-end processors mining Qitmeer (PMEER), and there is also a significant performance improvement of up to 30% over what was already available. The only thing that you might not like that much yet is the remaining higher 5% dev fee for that particular algorithm that the miner still has compared to the regular 2% for other algorithms.
