According to the GPU profitability ranking on the What to Mine website the Radiant (RXD) crypto is currently the most profitable coin to mine on most GPUs thanks to the recent spike in popularity and price. It is the top coin in profitability for almost all Nvidia GPUs and some AMD ones with Kaspa (KAS) also finding its spot in number two and three in terms of profitability on some and Alephium (ALPH) as well as some other coins jumping in from GPU to GPU. Do note however that depending on your custom settings you might be able to achieve even better profitability thanks to increased performance or decreased power usage or both. Both KAS and RXD are using different GPU-intensive mining algorithms for their Proof of Work (kHeavyHash and SHA512256d), so they key optimizations you can do for achieving lower power usage with maximum performance include lowering the memory to the minimum frequency supported, increasing the GPU clock together with a core clock offset to lower the voltage and the result is quite big improvement in terms of power efficiency while maintaining very high performance. Give it a try if you still haven’t and are already mining Kaspa or Radiant or are planning to do so switching form Ethash/ETChash mining for instance.

Radiant (RXD) is another project that is quickly catching up with crypto miners, so we are going to be sharing some tips on how you can optimize Nvidia GPUs for better performance with lower power usage for mining RXD with the Bzminer software. Radiant uses the SHA512256d algorithm, another GPU-intensive algorithm, so you can go as low as possible with the video memory and higher on the GPU clock to get better performance with lower power usage for this one. AMD GPU miners interested in mining Radiant (RXD) should go for the SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 1.1.3 software, however it does not come with so advanced GPU clocking features, so you might need to use different tools in trying to optimize the hardware. Here we’ll be focusing on Nvidia GPUs only and Bzminer.
We are going to be using the latest Bzminer v12.1.1 as mining software for the examples below and cover some of the popular Nvidia GPUs fo rmining with settings and expected hashrate and power usage. Obviously, we are going to be setting the GPU clock to a higher fixed frequency (oc_lock_core_clock) and the memory clock (oc_lock_memory_clock) to the lowest possible fixed frequency and we’ll add in the core offset (oc_core_clock_offset) to further lower the power usage by lowering the voltage of the core. In the examples below do not forget to change the pool if you want and also set your Radian wallet address in the place of the YOUR_RXD_WALLET, also do not forget that you need to run Bzminer as administrator in order to for the OC settings to function!

Some more useful tips for anyone that wants to experiment with these settings above. We have provided good starting point in terms of frequency and offset that should be stable on most GPUs, however depending on your specific hardware and conditions you might be able to go up a bit for extra performance or power savings or you might need to go lower for attaining good stability. If Bzminer crashes or restarts you might want to start by lowering the setting of the oc_core_clock_offset parameter, that would lead to slightly higher power usage. If lowering the offset does not help, then keep its value and try lowering the GPU clock a bit. The video memory setting is already at the minimum level, so there is no need to play with the clocks there.
Radiant (RXD) is another new crypto project that similar to Kaspa (KAS) is getting more attention and that goes for crypto miners as well as it is among the most profitable coins to mine with GPUs at the moment. Radiant uses the SHA512256d algorithm (RXD whitepaper) for its Proof of Work which is a GPU-heavy one and not memory dependant algorithm, similar in that way to the kHeavyHash that Kaspa uses. The maximum supply of RXD coins is 21 Billion with a block reward of 50 thousand and a block time of 5 minutes, halving occurs every two years. What we like here with Radiant is that just like as with Kaspa we are kind of getting back to the roots of Bitcoin, but with a number of improved features and capabilities added by these projects.
Even though Radiant is still relatively new coin it is available for mining on over 20 pools with the largest ones in terms of hashtrate being rplant.xyz, woolypooly.com and vipor.net. A few crypto exchanges are already supporting RXD trading as well, these include TxBit, ExBitron and TradeOgre, but the trading volume is still not that large and with the current price you can easily scoop up some coins on the cheap.
To mine Radiant (RXD) coins on GPU you need to either use the latest SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 1.1.3 for AMD-based GPUs or the latest BzMiner v12.1.1 for Nvidia GPUs, although it also has support for AMD-based video cards as well. As for the settings, similar to what works for Kaspa works here as well, video memory set to the lowest possible frequency and the GPU clocked to as high as it can handle for maximum performance or to a bit lower level for optimal power efficiency.
