More updates from the WildRig Multi AMD GPU miner with the latest version 0.16.3 Beta bringing some more performance improvements for various supported and new algorithms. Starting with version 16.0 there is support for a number of new crypto algorithms including wildkeccak, honeycomb and xevan along with number of additional performance improvements and optimizations for these algorithms. The latest version continues to improve some hashorders for x16 family of algorithms (JH512 in middle, SIMD at start) and comes with special improvement for Vega on almost all of the supported algorithms (bcd, x16-fmaily, hex, x22i, etc.).

Do note that the WildRig Multi currently supports only AMD GPUs with the newer RX series and VEGA out of the box, while for older R9 series Fiji, Hawaii and Tonga there is a separate download available with binary kernels. The WildRig Multi 0.16.3 Beta is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced. wildkeccak and honeycomb algorithms are with fixed 2% dev fee with no possibility to change.

After the recent addition of BEAM (Equihash 150,5) support on NiceHash the service for selling and buying mining hashrate has become more active and has just added two (three) more new algorithms – CuckARoo29 and CuckAToo31 used by GRIN and Lyra2REv3 used by VTC. NiceHash support for GRIN on the software side is still somewhat lacking, with the latest GMiner 1.28 pretty much currently the only available miner for Grin (CuckARoo29) available for Nvidia GPUs under Windows, no AMD Grin miners with proper NiceHash support for now it seems. Lyra2REv3 on the other hand is more widely supported and available already on multiple software miners for both AMD and Nvidia as it was an anticipated fork for VTC, so developers had the time to get ready. An example for a compatible AMD miner is the latest WildRig Multi and for Nvidia you can try the latest official ccminer by tpruvot or the latest CryptoDredge which is faster in terms of performance compared to ccminer. Due to the interest and demand for Grin mining hashrate currently profitability wise it might be interesting for Nvidia miners to try selling their hashrate on NiceHash and get paid in BTC for it while waiting for the Grin ecosystem to get more developed and functional that it is at the moment.

More updates from the WildRig Multi AMD GPU miner with the latest version 0.13.4 Beta bringing some more performance improvements for various supported algorithms as well as support for newly introduced crypto algorithms. The latest version adds support for the X21S and Dedal algorithms and the previous few 0.13 updates have introduced support for Aergo and X18 as well. The performance improvements for the mining speed cover the following algorithms: hex, hmq1725, x16r, x16s, x22i, sonoa, x17, x18 and maybe even more from the supported ones since the 0.13 release.

Do note that the WildRig Multi currently supports only AMD GPUs with the newer RX series and VEGA out of the box and there is a separate download of binary kernels needed for older R9 series Fiji, Hawaii and Tonga. Unlike its predecessor the WildRig Multi miner does not support Nvidia GPUs, it will only work on AMD-based mining rigs. The WildRig Multi 0.13.4 Beta is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced.
