We have compiled a Windows binary (64-bit only) from the latest ethminer 0.9.41 Genoil fork 1.0.7 beta for Nvidia CUDA as well as AMD OpenCL mining of Ethereum (source). The latest code comes with the addition of failover support for Stratum mode along with the already available in previous release failover support for the standard mining mode. You are welcome to download and try the compiled binary of the latest git code for the new 1.0.7 beta and the Stratum failover and if you experience problems you should report them. Check the included help.txt file and the example BAT file for more information on how to use the new Stratum failover mode. We are also seeing a tiny bit of performance increase on Nvidia using the CUDA mode and apparently using the OpenCL on Nvidia should now also provide similar performance as CUDA (was slower before), there should not be no change in hashrate on AMD GPUs.

I do not recommend using this version (1.0.7 Beta).
My specs 6x290x (Crimson 15.12 and Windows 10)
Miner stops working after few minutes, also graphics driver crashed.

I have stable 194-200MH/s with 1.0.6 Beta.

What are your clock and memclock settings for 290x if I may ask?

@Marcin thanks for the feedback. The OpenCL kernel got an overhaul in an attempt to increase hash rate. Looked fine on my AMD card but I’ll run it for a bit longer then. Worst case I’ll revert the kernel changes. NVidia OpenCL speed is not really important anyway.

@Genoil, I think that CUDA implementation has some issues also, my 980 loose 3MH/s with the latest version, on win7.

Never mind, tweaking a little I got the same MH/s.
What settings do you recommend for a 980 anyway?

I have 6x MSI Radeon R9 290x Gaming
Core 1030@1150MHz, mem 1250@1350MHz (+25mV, temp 60-65’C)
I observed that memory clock higher than 1350MHz didn’t improve hashrate.
It will be a surprise for you – I’m using only 3x 650W PSU :)

There is an official binary compiled with CUDA 6.5, though it is version 1.0.5: https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/blob/master/releases/cuda-6.5/ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.0.5-cuda6.5.zip

Will try to compile the latest version 1.0.7 and post it in 32-bit and 64-bit binaries for Windows later today.
