cryptotrader-new-pricing-plans

The Cryptotrader cloud based online algorithmic trading platform for Bitcoin and other crypto currency trading has updated their pricing plans making it more affordable to actually start trading live using the platform. The Basic plan that was previously available for $8 USD is now gone as it did not allow for actual live trading and the Basic+ plan that was available for $24 USD per month that actually allowed you to have 1 live trading bot is now available for $10 USD a month. So if you want to test the service you can signup for the basic free functionality and then if you decide to start trading live you can do so now with just $10 USD per month and not $24 USD as it was previously. The Pro and VIP plans that allow for more simultaneously running trading bots are also slightly cheaper respectively with $5 and $10 USD lower than previously.

Do note however that this platform is intended mostly for more advanced users that are willing to program their own automated trading bot. There are also many automated trading strategies available for free that you can try and further adapt as well as a Strategy trading market where you can essentially rent a more professional bot. The problem with the strategy market is that the prices of most strategies that you pay for on a monthly basis are quite high, making them not worth renting just for testing or for trading with small amounts of crypto currencies as in the end you would want to make profit from all of this.

bitmain-antminer-s2-sha-256-asic

The Chinese company BitMain has started shipping the third batch of their AntMiner S2 SHA-256 ASIC miners with a hasrate of 1 Terahash for mining Bitcoin. The new batch of S2 miners is priced at $3199 USD (7.387 BTC), the company has started shipping the first two batches of their new Terahash Bitcoin ASIC miners at the start of this month, but the problem is that even at the current price putting the numbers inside a calculator does not give out promising results. With the current exchange rate of Bitcoin you are not going to be able to even get a return of the investment in the hardware you have made. You would need an exchange rate of about $650 USD in order to be able to break even by the end of this year and this everything going on lately things are a bit uncertain. Thus investing in Bitcoin ASIC devices may not be the best choice at this particular moment, especially if you are going to be paying with BTC for them. And with the current market situation investing in Scrypt ASIC miners does seem riskier as well, so people are already very careful in what they put their money into.
