New Innosilicon Equihash A9++ ZMaster ASIC Miner

It seems that not only Bitmain it getting back in the game with a more powerful Equihash ASIC miner, but Innosilicon also has a new offer for such device. The new Innosilicon Equihash A9++ ZMaster is the successor of their original A9 Zmaster ASIC from last year that offered 50 Ksol/s hashrate for Equihash. The new Innosilicon Equihash A9++ ZMaster comes with 140 Ksol/s hashrate at 1550W of power usage, so efficiency wise it does not seem much better than the original A9 Zmaster – it is almost 3 times faster at almost 3 times the power usage. Innosilicon listed briefly Innosilicon Equihash A9+ ZMaster (with just one plus) with 120 Ksol/s at the same 1550W, but it is not available anymore.
The Innosilicon Equihash A9++ ZMaster is available for order at a price of $1580 USD (without a power supply). It is very similar specifications wise to what Bitmain is offering with their AntMiner Z11, however the A9++ ZMaster could ship faster and be in your hands a bit early. The problem is that unlike Bitmain that caught up with their new product, Innosilicon seems to have just put more of the chips into a bigger device as they were ahead of Bitmain specs wise already with their A9.

The newly announced Innosilicon Terminator3 ASIC miner capable of delivering up to 43 THS SHA256 mining hashrate with just 2100 Watts of power usage (48.83 W/TH) is definitely interesting technologically wise, though in the current market situation pre-ordering mining hardware for next year delivery is significantly more riskier. The Innosilicon Terminator3-43T is up for pre-orders at a price of $2279 USD or about half of Bitcoin at the current low prices, so buying with BTC may not be a wise idea at the moment. Delivery the 1st batch is expected to start between January 25th and February 25th, 2nd batch is for March 5th to March 15th, 2019. One thing is for sure however, the competition for more powerful and more efficient ASIC miners is heating up even though the market is declining at the moment, apparently everyone is already gearing up for when things pick back up.

Innosilicon has just launched another BTC ASIC miner called T2Turbo+32T, a 32 THS miner that can run up to 36 THS according to the company with a power usage of 2200 Watts. What the company did with the new miner is to use the same 10nm ASIC chips like their previous 24 THS T2T-24T Bitcoin ASIC, but adding more chips running at lower operating frequency and delivering better efficiency per Watt. The efficiency in normal mode is 68 W/TH and the miner can apparently run in high-performance mode delivering up to 36 THS. Innosilicon currently has a special promotional price for the Innosiicon T2Turbo+32T of $1568 USD for online order with limited quantities available.
It seems that Innosilicon might be taking the lead in ASIC chip development for mining crypto currencies lately in terms of performance and efficiency even though it is not the largest company in this sector. Probably the fact that matters here is that the company has been designing and manufacturing chips even before venturing in the crypto mining market unlike most of the dedicated crypto ASIC manufacturers. What they still do seem to need to address however is their customer communications and service as this is what most customers that have some issues with their products issues are complaining from with Innosilicon
