ccminer-1-7-tpruvot-benchmark

A few days ago we have posted a windows binary compiled from the latest source of ccMiner 1.7-git from tpruvot and now the official 1.7 release is available with a windows binary compiled by the author of the miner. The final version does come with some additional fixes and improvements as compared to the 1.7-git release from a few days ago, so if you are using the older windows binary you might want to update now. The ccMiner 1.7-tpruvot fork brings support for old Compute 2.0 (SM 2.1) devices for many of the crypto algorithms allowing users with older Nvidia GPUs to use them to mine. It also brings some performance improvements for newer Compute 5.0+ GPUs and adds new features such as automatic benchmark mode for all supported algorithms and some other interesting new features. The ccMiner 1.7-tpruvot fork supports Nvidia-based GPUs with Compute 2.0 or newer capabilities, so make sure that you are not trying to run the miner on too old hardware. The official x86 Windows binary release is for older SM 2.1+ devices while the x64-bit one is intended for newer SM 3.5+ devices.

ccminer-1-7-dev-tpruvot

Time for a new update in the form of a Windows binary from the latest ccminer 1.7-dev (source), so that you can try it out if you are interested. Tpruvot has been rewriting a lot of things in his fork for the upcoming official 1.7 release, so there are quite a lot of changes as well as new features implemented. The latest updates can be useful to people that have older Compute GPUs, especially with Compute 2.0 (SM 2.1) where all X-based algorithms along with some others should now work properly, along with some fixes for newer Compute cards and others. You should use this release just for trying it out and if you want more stability and reliability you should probably stick to the previous 1.6.6 release. This Windows binary is compiled with VS2013 and CUDA 6.5 and supports Compute 2.1, 3.0, 5.0 and 5.2 GPUs, but do have in mind that not all of the supported algorithms may work on older Compute 2.1/3.0 GPUs, still if you have an older Nvidia-based video card this is the ccminer fork you will need.

ccminer-1-5-72-sp-mod

New update in the form of a Windows binary release compiled from the latest Git source code of the ccMiner 1.5.72-git SP-MOD fork by SP optimized for the latest Maxwell-based video cards (source) to bring things up to date. The latest release comes with some performance improvements for the most profitable algorithms such as lyra2v2 and quark as well as Bastion Cpu mining support implemented (no GPU support for the moment). Do note that the SP-MOD fork of ccMiner is designed for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs such as the already available GTX 750, 750 Ti as well as the newer GTX 960, GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti and GTX Titan X. The Windows binary release we have made available here is with support for Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 GPUs or with other words only for Maxwell-based Nvidia video cards compiled with CUDA 6.5 and VS2013.
