ccminer-1-2-x15-windows

There is now a new ccMiner fork with support for the X15 algorithm available for Nvidia GPU miners thanks to djm34 (source). The X15 algorithm support is still a bit rough, but it works quite well already, so you can experiment with it and try mining with your GPUs. We have tried it on a GeForce GTX 750 Ti where we are getting about 1450 KHS hashrate when mining for a X15 crypto coin such as BitBlock, and from a GeForce GTX 780 Ti you can expect to get around 2600 KHS in terms of hashrate with this new miner.

We have compiled a windows binary of the new miner and you can download it from the link below. Do note however that the windows binary is compiled for Compute 3.0, 3.5 and 5.0 cards (32-bit version only) in a single binary, so it will not work on older cards. If you are unsure what version of Compute does your video card support check the included GPU Compute Capabilities List file. It is also compiled with Visual Studio 2012, so if you do not already have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 you will have to download and install it, otherwise you may be getting error for a missing DLL library.

ccminer-cryptonight-fork

Today a new fork of the ccMiner software for Nvidia GPU mining was released with the addition of support for the CryptoNight algorithm used by coins such as Monero (XMR), the fork by tsiv is still an initial beta and is quite heavy and not optimized, but works. We have compiled and released a windows binary of the miner for anyone interested to try it out, our tests have shown that on a GeForce GTX 750 Ti video card we are getting about 205-210 H/s in terms of hashrate. If you run the miner on your main GPU your computer will most likely be very unresponsive after the miner starts, but this will not mean it is frozen.

ccminer-1-2-windows

The ccMiner Nvidia CUDA miner has just been updated to version 1.2 with the source code getting support for the community contributed X13 and Diamond Groestl support. We have compiled a windows binary version from the source that includes the recently released optimizations called “Killer Groestl” that improves the performance of Groestl and all coins that use the algorithm supported by ccMiner. If you are using tsiv’s fork of ccMiner for mining X13 then it is recommended to download this new update as it will bring an extra performance improvement in x13 mining hashrate. Our tests show that on a GeForce GTX 750 Ti you can expect to get from about 1700 KHS to close to 2100 KHS mining X13 with the new ccMiner 1.2 as X13 does rely on Groestl as well.
