The latest CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner version 0.15.0 comes with fixes for Lyra2REv3 performance, but more importantly it also adds support for the new MTP algorithm currently being used by the Zcoin (XZC) project. It is recommended to immediately upgrade to the new 0.15.0 if you are mining Zcoin (XZC) at the moment with the djm34 ccminer fork as you should be getting more than double the performance with CryptoDredge on GTX 1×00 series and more than half on RTX 2×00 series, so again worth mining even with the recent hashrate increase we are seeing. Another important thing regarding MTP support is that you need to use Nvidia graphics card with at least 5 GB video memory, however there are no special requirements for CPU and RAM, so 4 GB System RAM must be sufficient (older miners had larger memory requirements!). Also note that compared to other algorithms MTP transfers a larger amount of data to the pool, so this may be a problem for limited and slow internet connection speeds. Have in mind that after the performance optimizations in CryptoDredge for MTP the power consumption has also increased over the low usage that ccminer has been having for this algorithm previously.

Do note that the CryptoDredge miner supports only Nvidia GPUs and is a closed source software that comes with 1% built-in developer fee for all supported algorithms, however the dev fee is 2% currently only for MTP mining, there are binaries available for both Windows and Linux (CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0).

The latest CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner version 0.14.0 comes with support for the new Lyra2REv3 algorithm as well as improved performance for X22i used by the SUQA project, faster Skunkhash and X16-based algorithms. The new Lyra2REv3 algorithm is going to be used by Vertcoin (VTC) as a means to avoid the use of the recently made available ASICs for the currently used Lyra2REv2 algorithm. VTC is currently running on testnet with the new algorithm with mainnet fork to Lyra2REv3 coming soon if everything is fine with the testnet release and there are not problems.

With the latest release you can expect to get up to 10-12% performance boost for the X22i algorithm, up to 2-4% for Skunkhash and up to 5-7% performance increase for the X16-based algorithms, so definitely worth upgrading for the extra performance. Do note that the CryptoDredge miner supports only Nvidia GPUs and is a closed source software that comes with 1% built-in developer fee and with binaries available for both Windows and Linux (CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0).

More updates from the CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner to version 0.13.0 that comes with support for two new crypto algorithms – X21S and Lyra2vc0ban, as well as some performance improvements and some fixes. The X21S is used by a new project called Ritocoin (RITO) that recently launched, the recent T-Rex 0.8.3 update was the first to add support for this new algorithm and still seems to be slightly faster. Lyra2vc0ban is a new algorithm implemented by the c0ban project as a countermeasure to ASICs for Lyra2REv2.

CryptoDredge 0.13.0 comes with performance improvements for the X22i and Skunkhash algorithms, taking the top spot performance wise for X22i from T-Rex, so make sure you switch if mining SUQA at the moment and want to get the best possible performance. There is also a fix implemented for the Exosis and Dedal algorithm when started from BLAKE as well as a color hash order added for x16. Do note that the CryptoDredge miner supports only Nvidia GPUs and is a closed source software that comes with 1% built-in developer fee and with binaries available for both Windows and Linux (CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0).
