It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
With the Ravencoin (RVN) fork to X16Rv2 right around the corner already we are starting to see updates to popular mining software adding support for the new algorithm the coin will be switching to. It has been a while since we have seen an update for the z-enemy miner (one of the most popular choices for X16R mining on Nvidia GPUs in the past), but here it is with the latest version 2.2 adding support for the X16Rv2 algorithm. The latest version also adds support for secure stratum+ssl connections and comes with some fixes as well regarding a GPU data error in JSON API and a PHI2 bug on CUDA 10.1.
The latest z-enemy version 2.2 is available for Nvidia CUDA 9.1, 9.2, 10.0 and 10.1 for 64-bit Windows versions as well as CUDA 9.1, CUDA 9.2 and CUDA 10 binaries for Linux (HiveOS, PiMP OS, EthOS & Ubuntu). Make sure that you have the respective recent video driver version installed for the CUDA version you want to use – 388+ for 9.1, 397+ for 9.2 and 411+ for CUDA 10.0 or the latest ones for CUDA 10.1. We remind you that the z-enemy is a closed source miner software, is available only as a binary release and that it contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development.

It has been quite a while since we have seen an update of the z-enemy Nvidia GPU miner. Up until now updates were mostly focused on performance improvements and new algorithm being added, but the new major version 2.0 of the z-enemy introduces a new way to manage and monitor the miner. There is a new HTTP JSON API (see the included json_api_help.txt file for the details), available at port 4067 by default as well as a web control panel with real-time monitoring and charts. The user interface is responsive and should be looking well on most mobile phones and tablets and not only on computers, it is informative in terms of stats and graphs, looks nice and works pretty well, so you might want to check it out if you are mining altcoins using X16-based algorithms or anything else that z-enemy supports.
The latest z-enemy version 2.00 is available for CUDA 9.1, 9.2 and 10.0 for 64-bit Windows versions as well as CUDA 9.0, CUDA 9.1, CUDA 9.2 and CUDA 10 binaries for Linux (HiveOS, PiMP OS, EthOS & Ubuntu). Make sure that you have the respective recent video driver version installed for the CUDA version you want to use – 388+ for 9.1, 397+ for 9.2 and 411+ for CUDA 10.0, though 415+ is advised for the best performance. We remind you that z-enemy is a closed source miner available only as a binary release and it contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development.

The latest update of the z-enemy 1.28 Nvidia GPU miner comes with more hashrate increasing optimizations in a number of the supported crypto algorithms such as BCD, HEX, X16R, X16S, X17 Bitcore, C11, Sonoa and others. You can expect to see performance improvements of up to 7-8% for Bitcoin Diamond, up to about 4-5% for HEX, up to 3-5% for X16R, X16S, X17, Bitcore, C11, Sonoa, etc… So if using any of the supported algorithms by the z-enemy miner at the moment you should definitely upgrade your version to 1.28 to get a bit of extra performance increase.
The latest z-enemy version 1.28 is available for CUDA 9.1, 9.2 and 10.0 for 64-bit Windows versions as well as CUDA 9.0, CUDA 9.1, CUDA 9.2 and CUDA 10 binaries for Linux (HiveOS, PiMP OS, EthOS & Ubuntu).
