Electronic Gulden, e-Gulden (EFL) is a new Scrypt-based altcoin. The goal is to bring the Dutch ƒ Gulden (English: ƒ Guilder) back in an electronic version. The Netherlands had used the Gulden (Gouden Florijn) from the Middle Ages, to 2002. In 2002 the government decided to replace the Gulden for the Euro. This replacement had a negative influence on the economy for the Dutch citizens. The Electronic Gulden is the Dutch cryptocurrency, bringing back its nostalgic value. Every country has its own economy and therefore we feel having individual coins for each country, working better than global currencies. We believe that we live in revolutionary times, where a cryptocurrency as the Electronic Gulden (EFL) can have a major impact on our economy.
