Innosilicon A5 DashMaster X11 ASIC Miner to Offer 30.2 GHS

2017

If you were surprised by yesterday’s announcement from Bitmain with their 15 GHS X11 ASIC miner, then the new X11 ASIC from Innosilicon will surprise you even more. The Innosilicon A5 DashMaster is claimed to be capable of delivering up to 30.2 GHS X11 hashrate with just 750W of power usage, that is double the performance with lower power usage compared to Antminer D3. Of course we’ve seen before Innosilicon pre-anounce specifications of ASIC miners that end up too much with the actual product not able to deliver what was initially offered, still even if they deliver slower hashrate and higher power usage than what is currently cited it could still be an interesting product. What is really important here is what the price will be as Bitmain did manage to offer a really sweet deal price wise for their 15 GHS X11 miner, no word on pricing for the A5 DashMaster yet though.

For the moment there are still not that much details about the A5 DashMaster ASIC, the information about it is published only on the copany’s Chinese version of the website, nothing on the English site yet. Innosilicon A5 DashMaster should start shipping in early September according to the information on the website, so you can expect that around September time the difficulty of DASH will be already sky high. Other manufacturers of X11 ASIC miners such as Baikal, iBelink and PinIdea are also working on new products or have recently launched such. Of course they are not with the performance of the latest announcements from BitMain and Innosilicon, but could still be interesting products. For example Baikal’s miners support multiple algorithms and not just X11 like most others do.

Update: The information about the new Innosilicon A5 DashMaster X11 ASIC has been published on the English website of Innosilicon as well and there is another interesting piece of information also available. It seems that the miner is capable of achieving about 38 GHS when overclocked with a power usage of about 1250W. The company is taking pre-orders with the shipping expected to start on September 20th and the miners will come with 6 months of warranty.

I would like to know when they’re shipping and price. I contacted their sales email and I have not received no email. I’m really interested buying the A5 Dash miner. Can someone update me with price and how can I buy? Thank you : )

@Anthony: Contacted them yesterday as well to ask the same as you, but received no response either. Speaks for a basically non existent customer support.

Got a response from their English support now, but guess what no reply to my question on the price and beware: the minimum order quantity is 5 devices.

Another issue: They won’t ship before Oct. 10th. This means: If Bitmain ships their 15GH/s D3 devices 15-25 Sept, this gives them several weeks of advantage, the network hashrate and difficulty will increase and than question is what the ROI/break even will be then.

I’d also like to know, as dashka, how reliable this Innosilicon company is. I won’t throw them 30K or how much that 5 MOQ would cost me at them if nobody can confirm, they are trustworthy. Has anyony experience with them?

Thanks!

Here the prices, Innosilicon provided by now on their English website: 4.22 BTC (or 9999 USD; 254.23 LTC ). Quite expensive, even considering the hashrate advantage over the Bitmain D3.

I got my reply from english support also. They told me 3 was MOQ, and price would be coming out shortly. Shipping would begin 10/10. If $10k is really the unit price….Is there a service somewhere where home miners can buy/sell extra units to other home miners trustlessly? Something other than like ebay for example?

https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/dash-difficulty-chart come October I reckon that would would be well over the 1 million mark or more. It’s doubled just in the last month alone. At a conservative 25GH and a 1.5 mill difficulty it’s going to https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/dash-mining-calculator/?h=25000.00&p=750.00&pc=0.16&pf=2.00&d=1500000.00000000&r=1.80147602&er=0.06975567&btcer=2791.00000000&hc=10000.00 It’s going to take a few months to break even. Risky if it breaks down, or if the goods don’t even come.

Interesting, seems they’ve lowered the MOQ to just 1 unit. Sounds a bit fishy tbh. First they tell me 5, then they tell Brandon 3 and today their website says 1 (“MOQ 1 unit, buy 10 get 1 free, extra reward machines will be handled by sales”)

Hi, I am offering 2 persons who intend to buy Dashmaster A5 an additional 5% on your return. Our company put an order of 10 units for free 1x unit. 50% proceeds goes to charity (www.kiva.org) and balance 50% goes to our company directors, staff who purchased. Unfortunately we’re short of 2 to make this a 10 units purchase.

To claim this monthly 5% from us (until machine’s end of life), you just need to:
1. Make your order through Innosilicon.
2. Quote our company name
3. Your wire transfer to indicate your pre-order number.
4. Email copy of your payment and pre-order to me.
5. I will indicate to them we are of the same group bulk purchase.
6. I have been given greenlight by Innosilicon to openly share in public group.

Serious enquirers, contact me below

Their latest reply to us yesterday, not much stock left for October delivery. No, you don’t need to call them. They seem to entertain purchasers whom have made payment and receptive to constructive feedback. China is not as wayback as we think they are. They write and speak good English. I don’t speak to them in Mandarin either.

Chasing after Antminer D3 is just a dream. A what if if we can get for that price. Heard sold out within 5 mins. Can try luck buy at secondary market for 2 to 5 times its price.

We decided not to chase and just go for Dashmaster A5.
