It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
Zeus has come up with an interesting new upgrade program for the owners of their ZeusMiner Scrypt ASIC miners that is supposed to allow users to make their current miners more up to date and profitable again at the end of the year. If you have purchased a previous generation ZeusMiner you are able to pre-order ZEUS GEN III chip Blades that you can use to replace your existing boards and make the miner much more powerful in terms of hashrate while fitting in the same power usage limit as your current hardware. You are going to essentially use the cases and cooling radiators and fans of your existing hardware and only replace the chip boards with the same modules that the recently announced ZeusMiner Volcano will be using.
The prices for the upgrade boards are quite attractive at the moment and they should not be very expensive to ship, because you will not be getting a whole miner with the big size and weight due to the case and cooling. ZeusMiner distributors such as MinerEU are also accepting pre-orders for the Generation 3 upgrade boards as well as the Volcano Scrypt ASIC. What you should know however is that these upgrade boards should be available and start shipping sometime by the end of December. If Zeus manages to keep their promise on the specifications they have announced the upgrade boards will most likely be a great way to revive your Scrypt ASIC as it may be a bit outdated in terms of performance by the end of the year. So while pre-orders could be risky, at this point of time the upgrade offer from Zeus does seem quite attractive to owners of ZeusMiner Scrypt ASIC devices.
Tradewave, a cloud-based trading platform using automated trading bots that you can create and customize has launched a live trading option as previously users were able to only create and backtest strategies (our brief check of the service). Tradewave is very similar in concept to the Cryptotrader service that we have reviewed already, however there are quite a lot of differences between the two. Tradewave uses Python for writing the trading bot code directly in the browser and then the bot runs in the cloud doing the trading for you, so you don’t need to worry about downtime or have to leave your computer on and connected to the Internet all of the time. The service offers free functionality for creating bots and backtesting them, but in order to get access to live trading functionality you will need to upgrade your account for $19.99 USD a month ($10 USD a month at Cryptotrader for the cheapest live trading plan). At the moment Tradewave offers live trading support at the following crypto currency exchanges: Kraken, Bitstam, BTCe and Bitfinex, however the services does support only the primary BTC and LTC for USD/EUR trading pairs and not all crypto currencies supported by some of the exchanges.

GAW Miners have just introduced a new Hashlet cloud miner – the Hashlet Genesis. The new virtual cloud miner is for mining Bitcoins directly with SHA-256 instead of Scrypt. The Hashlet Genesis comes in a minimum of 10 GHS package that costs $9.99 USD and can be scaled all the way up to 3 THS for $2984.95 USD. The maintenance fee per 10 GHS Hashlet is $0.02 USD per day and currently 10 GHS can get you about 0.08819 USD per day with the Bitcoin network difficulty if you mine directly for BTC. Unfortunately this price is not as attractive as the initial price that the Hashlet for Scrypt had and it does not promise very fast ROI, with the current market conditions you will need to have less than 9% increase per adjustment period of the Bitcoin network difficulty to be able to just get a return of your investment in 1 year time. So making profit with Hashlet Genesis may not be as easy as it may seem and with the other Scrypt-based Hashlets that are already available.
