It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
Innosilicon has announced an upgrade to their 30 GHS A5 DashMaster X11 ASIC miner from last year in the form of a new 65 GHS X11 ASIC named Innosilicon A5+ DashMaster. The new device seems a lot like just two of the older devices joined together and the specifications also suggest something like that as well. Anyway, Innosilicon A5+ DashMaster promises 65 GHS X11 hashrate at 1500 Watts of power usage in a single device that will cost you $4200 USD or the respective value in LTC or BTC (the price does not include a power supply). The X11 ASIC market is pretty crowded already and the profitability for mining DASH especially is not very high anyway, but you could look for altcoins that might give you better results.
Innosilicon A5+ DashMaster Specifications:
– Hash Rate: 65GH/s(+/-8%)
– Power Consumption: 1500W +/-8% (at the wall, with 93% efficiency PSU, 25°C temperature )
– Chip Type: A5+ DashMaster ASIC
– Dimensions: Double tube, 265mm(L) x 250mm(W) x 155mm(H)
– Net Weight: 6.02KG(without PSU)
– Operating Temperature: 0°C—85°C (device junction temperature)
– Network Connection: Ethernet

It seems that some people think that Bitmain has lowered the prices of their upcoming Antminer X3 Cryptonight ASIC miners, however that is not true, the company has just released new Batches 3 and 4 for pre-order and has removed the first two super expensive ones. Batch 1 of the Antminer X3 had a price of $11999 USD and should start shipping by the end of May and Batch 2 had a price of $7599 USD by the end of June. The prices of the first two batches are very important as well as their shipping dates are tied to the two new batches, so for example the new Antminer X3 Batch 3 with a price of just $3000 USD should start shipping after Batch 1 and the new Antminer X3 Batch 4 with a price of just $1900 USD should start shipping after Batch 2.
What Bitmain already did was screw over anyone that has ordered their Batch 2 devices as the new Batch 3 of the Antminer X3 Cryptonight ASIC should ship faster and at less than half the price. Actually the same goes for pretty much anyone that has ordered or plans to order any of the batches of the Antminer X3 Cryptonight ASIC miners from Bitmain, so consider wisely if you still have not purchased any, but are considering it. As we have already mentioned Monero (XMR) and a number of other CryptoNight coins are planning to fork to a new CryptoNightV7 POW that should make any of the current CryptoNight ASIC miners unusable, so a pretty risky thing to pre-order ASIC mining hardware at the moment and wait for it for a few months.
We are not surprised by the announcement from Halong Mining about their new DragonMint X1 and DragonMint X2 Cryptonight ASIC miners as the company had already mentioned on twitter a few days ago that they will be releasing such miners. The Halong Mining DragonMint X1 miner should be capable of 124 KH/s hashrate with 245W power usage, costs $1714 USD with a power supply and should start shipping in April 25-30. The more Halong Mining DragonMint X2 miner, as the name suggests, should be offering double the performance or with other words 248 KH/s at 490W of power usage at a slightly better price than ordering two X1 miners – $3115 USD with a power supply and shipping should also start by the edn of next month (April).
This offer is more like a real competition to Bitmain’s X3 Cryptonight ASIC miners performance wise and at a much better price and shipping earlier. What is there not to like in some real competition on the Cryptonight ASIC miners, but then again these devices might also end up as expensive door holders as well by the time they start shipping. With Monero (XMR) and other Cryptonight-based crypto currencies announcing plans to fork to a new version of the algorithm that should make them ASIC proof again things are not looking very favorable for ASIC miners. So again a word of warning if you are interested in the recent wave of Cryptonight ASIC miners, be extra careful when making your plans should you decide to order any of the miners already available or coming soon to the market.
