There is now an sgminer fork for GPU mining Espers (ESP) that uses HMQ1725 algorithm available (source) that works on AMD GPUs. The miner is still in an early beta and you may experience issues trying to use it, it is recommended to be with 15.12 drivers as older or newer versions might not work, the latest Crimson release does not for sure. Below you can find a working 32-bit Windows binary or you can compile from the source, though it seems that there are some issues with the source that still need fixing for problem free compilation. We were able to make the GPU miner for ESP work with about 530 KHS in terms of hashrate on an AMD Radeon 280X GPU or with other words a few times higher hashrate than on a high-end CPU using the CPU miner for hmq1725. We were not able to make the miner work properly on 290X, nor on Nvidia GPUs using OpenCL, so if you try the binary you are welcome to report your experience with it.

A quick update of the public ccMiner fork by SP of his Nvidia Maxwell optimized miner in the form of a Windows binary compiled from the latest Git source code of the ccMiner 1.5.80-git SP-MOD fork (source). The latest release comes with some fixes fox x17, x17 and Neoscrypt algorithms and some small speed improvements in various algorithms. Have in mind that is a CUDA 7.5 compiled release, the latest CUDA 6.5 release of SP’s fork of ccMiner was version 74. Do note that the SP-MOD fork of ccMiner is designed for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs such as the already available GTX 750, 750 Ti as well as the newer GTX 960, GTX 970, GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti and GTX Titan X. The Windows binary release we have made available here is 32-bit with support for Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 GPUs or with other words only for Maxwell-based Nvidia video cards compiled with CUDA 7.5 and VS2013.

Claymore has released a Linux binary of his Dual Ethereum and Decred GPU miner for AMD GPUs. Prior to that the dual miner was only available for Windows users, but now Linux miners can also try to run it and increase their mining profit by mining ETH and DCR at the same time. Do note that the Linux binary may not work on all Linux distributions, it is tested on Ubuntu 12.04 and Catalyst 15.12 and other users are reporting success on other Ubuntu versions, but there are also some that have issues. The Linux binary of the miner is 64-bit only and if you are trying to run it on your mining rig please report if you are successful or not and on what Linux distribution. With Linux it is usually best to compile from source code, but since Claymore’s Dual Ethereum and Decred GPU miner is not open source and there is a small developer fee the source is not available for miners to compile it themselves. Still a Linux binary is better than nothing at all, meanwhile it seems that SP is also experimenting on a dual miner for Nvidia GPUs as Claymore’s miner is working only on AMD.
