It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
PayPal as one of the largest online payment processors in the world is seeing the potential that Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general have and they do want to take advantage of the Bitcoin and the technology that comes with it. So it is no wonder that PayPal is interested in supporting Bitcoin payments as well, but today there are more interesting news regarding the Bitcoin support from PayPal. Earlier this month the company has announced that businesses working with Braintree, a PayPal company, will soon be able to accept Bitcoin as a payment option through their partnership with Coinbase, a BTC payment processor. Today however came another big announcement from PayPal as the “next step in helping merchants accept Bitcoin payments”. PayPal has entered into agreements with leading Bitcoin payment processors BitPay, Coinbase and GoCoin. Starting today, these agreements let PayPal digital goods merchants accept Bitcoin with a simple integration through the PayPal Payments Hub. This will be available to merchants in North America first.
“To be clear, today’s news does not mean that PayPal has added Bitcoin as a currency in our digital wallet or that Bitcoin payments will be processed on our secure payments platform. PayPal has always embraced innovation, but always in ways that make payments safer and more reliable for our customers. Our approach to Bitcoin is no different. That’s why we’re proceeding gradually, supporting Bitcoin in some ways today and holding off on other ways until we see how things develop.”
The reaction of the crypto currency market to this announcement has caused a spike in the prices that were keeping quite low for a few days already, we’ll see if the upwards trend continues or it will be followed by another dump of coins.

BitPay, a Bitcoin payment processor, has announced a new free plan which offers basic payment processing free-of-charge, forever, making it even more attractive for new businesses to start accepting payments in Bitcoin from their customers. The new free plan allows merchants to use any plugin, API, or app from BitPay’s library and the only difference as compared to the $300 USD monthly Business plan is the lack of phone support and Quickbooks sales integration. With the free plan you still get support, however it is email only. BitPay is aiming to have one million merchants accepting Bitcoin by the end of 2016.
Coinbase, another similar service, has been offering for quite some time a plan to merchants that has no fees for the first $1,000,000 USD in transactions, after that the fee is just 1% to instantly convert Bitcoin to cash. The idea for accepting Bitcoin payments is to lower the fees for the seller and thus the price for the end user as compared to the fees when accepting credit card payments for example. This should help widen the Bitcoin adoption as a method to pay for services and goods with the merchant still getting his payment in USD or another currency even though the client pays in Bitcoins.

Another company has started accepting Bitcoins as a form of payment for their products and this time the good news are coming from none other than Dell. The company has announced that they are going to be supporting Bitcoin as a purchase option on Dell.com for consumer and small business shoppers in the U.S. The Bitcoin payment processor that Dell has partnered with is Coinbase for the Bitcoin support.
Dell is also soon going to be offering a special Alienware promotion allowing customers to save save 10 percent off a new Alienware system purchase (up to $150 limit) when checking out with Bitcoin. Definitely a good deal for people that are looking for a new system anyway, though if you are looking for a computer that can be used as a mining rig, then you probably will want to spend your coins on Newegg and not on Dell’s website.
