ccminer-1-5-80-sp-nicehash-lyra2rev2

NiceHash has forked SP’s ccMiner 1.5.80 GPU miner for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs (source) and has added significantly improved support for the Lyra2REv2 algorithm that can apparently provide up to 100% increase in terms of performance. SO if you are mining a crypto currency that uses the Lyra2REv2 algorithm or are selling your hashrate on Nicehash, then you might want to go for the new miner. We have compiled a 32-bit Windows binary, using VS2013 with CUDA 7.5 that you can download and try. Do note that it is compiled only for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs supporting Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 such as GTX 750, 750 Ti, GTX 950 GTX 960, GTX 970, GTX 980, GTX 980 Ti and GTX Titan X.

nicehash-miner-1-3-0-0

NiceHash has recently added Ethereum support (Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm) to their service for leasing or renting hashrate and now they have released an updated version of the NiceHash Miner to support it along with some more new algorithms. NiceHash Miner 1.3.0.0 (source) adds support for Ethereum mining for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs as well as support for Blake256r8, Blake256r14 and Blake256r8vnl algorithms for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs. The application switches automatically between the currently most profitable algorithm and makes mining with the CPU or AMD/Nvidia GPUs an easy task for novice users bringing in the highest return for the miner. The application essentially leases your hashrate to users that are willing to pay for it and you get paid directly in Bitcoin. This means that you no longer need to follow exchange rates and to manually trade different crypto currencies, however this also means that directly mining and exchanging a given crypto currency at the right time might be more profitable than to lease your hashrate.

nicehash-blake256-ethereum

NiceHash – the popular service for renting or selling your hashrate for various mining algorithms with direct payment in Bitcoin has added support for Ethereum’s Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm (Ethash) as well as for Blake256r8, Blake256r14 and modified Blake256r8vnl (used by Vanillacoin) algorithms. Do note however that the Blake256 14-rounds used by Decred (DCR) is not yet supported, so be careful when setting up your miners for the Blake256 algorithms, regardless if you need buying or selling your hashrate on the platform. The usage for Ethereum (ETH) mining is pretty much the same like what you would go for with a normal ETH mining pool that does not have stratum support implemented.
