It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
Apple’s MacOS computers aren’t really a popular choice as far as GPU mining is concerned, but for CPU mining they may still be usable… if you manage to find a miner with a MacOS binary build or if you manage to compile it yourself. So how about mining RandomX, a variation of the RandomX algorithm? You will quickly find out that neither of the popular RandomX CPU miners such as XMRig, SRBMiner-Multi and XMR-STAK-RX have a MacOS binary available and you may have some hard time compiling one yourself. Fortunately there is a solution available, at least for XMRig where a user has made a MacOS build of the latest XMRig 5.11.0 that may be exactly what you need if you have an Apple computer you ant to try CPU mining with.

The latest SRBMiner-MULTI CPU and AMD GPU Miner version 0.4.3 has added support for the Tellor (TRB) algorithm for GPU mining, though not all mining pols are apparently supported as the miner is compatible with trb.uupool.cn and other pools that use the same stratum implementation, but will not work on hashpool.com. Do note that Tellor (TRB) can also be mined using the latest NBMiner 29.0 that also supports Nvidia GPU mining. However GPU mining for this algorithm may already be not be profitable for GPUS having in mind that the Tellor algorithm has recently been made available for Blackminer FPGA miners. Below you can find the full changelog for the latest SRBMiner-MULTI and a download link.
SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 0.4.3 changelog:
– Added ‘tellor’ algorithm (trb.uupool.cn compatible stratum)
– Improvements on ‘minotaur’ algorithm
– Guided setup fixed & simplified

The latest SRBMiner-MULTI CPU and AMD GPU Miner version 0.2.0 has added support for another RandomX variant, namely the RandomV algorithm (MoneroV) as well as some additional tweaks, you can find the full changelog below. The previous release has also added support for the RandomSFX algorithm (SafexCash), so you can say that there is revival for CPU mining lately centered around RandomX, unfortunately that also has some negative side effects such as botnets mining. We’ll see how things go and for how long RandomX will remain in the CPU mining domain only with the growing interest around it and with many different variations becoming available as well.
SRBMiner-MULTI CPU & AMD GPU Miner 0.2.0 beta changelog:
– Added RandomV algorithm (MoneroV)
– Added –randomx-use-tweaks, to select the MSR tweak/s to apply
– Added RandomX tweak support for Intel Core2 processors
