It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
The author of the popular SRBminer CryptoNight AMD GPU miner, doktor83, has just released a new mining software called SRBMiner-MULTI CPU and AMD GPU Miner. The new miner is targeted at algorithms for CPU mining as well as some CPU and GPU ones for more recent AMD-based video cards (R9 2xx series and newer)… other than the CN-based algorithms that his other AMD GPU miner supports. Do note that just like his CryptoNight GPU miner, this new CPU and GPU AMD miner is also available only for Windows as a pre-compiled binary (it is closed source) and there is a built-in developer fee as follows: 0% for blake2b, 1.70% for rainforestv2 and 0.85% for all other supported algorithms. The miner does not yet have support for the new RandomX algorithm, but it will most likely get one at least regarding CPU support, you can find the initially supported algorithms below:
CPU-only algorithms:
– cpupower
– yescryptr16
– yescryptr32
– yescryptr8
– yespower
– yespowerlitb
– yespowerr16
CPU + GPU algorithms:
– blake2b
– blake2s
– keccak
– mtp
– rainforestv2
– yescrypt

We have not released binary updates of the cpuminer-multi CPU miner fork from tpruvot with multiple algorithms support (source), so here is an up to date version compiled for Windows. This is the most functional fork of cpuminer that comes with support for the largest number of algorithms and a lot of optimizations for them to get the most performance out of your CPU. Do note however that some dedicated forks of cpuminer for a specific algorithm may still provide better performance, but if you want flexible solution with many algorithms supported then cpuminer-multi is the choice. We have compiled an up to date Windows binary from the latest source that comes with some fixes and improvements for various algorithms as well as support for some new algorithms such as bastion, scrypt-jane, sib and yescrypt. If you have some spare CPU power that you want to use for mining then this is the miner you’ll need, do note that we have compiled our Windows binary with Visual Studio 2013 and for 64-bit Windows.

Time for a new quick update in the form of a Windows binary compiled from the latest Git source code of ccMiner 1.5.52-git SP-MOD fork of the Nvidia GPU miner optimized for the latest Maxwell-based video cards by SP (source). This version includes some performance improvements in some of the supported algorithms such as Lyra2RE for GTX 970 and more Quark optimizations for improved hashrate, so as usual you might want to update for the best performance. As it seems that at the moment Lyra2RE and Quark are the most profitable algorithms to mine with GPU. The SP-MOD fork of ccMiner is designed for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs such as the already available GTX 750, 750 Ti as well as the newer GTX 960, GTX 970 and GTX 980. The Windows binary release we have made available here is compiled with support for Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 GPUs or with other words only for Maxwell-based cards with CUDA 6.5 and VS2013.
