Windows Binary of the ccMiner 1.7.6-r6 fork With Faster Lyra2RE

Here comes an updated ccMiner 1.7.6-r6 Widows binary of the Nanashi Meiyo-Meijin fork (source) with optimized Lyra2REv2 performance. The latest r6 update might bring a slight performance increase in Lyra2REv2, however it significantly increases the performance of the Lyra2RE algorithm based on the few tests we ran, results of which you can find below comparing the r5 and r6 released on different Maxwell GPUs and the new Pascal GTX 1080.

You can download a 32-bit Windows binary of the ccMiner 1.7.6-r6 fork from Nanashi Meiyo-Meijin compiled with VS2013 and CUDA 8.0 with a wider range of Nvidia GPUs supported – from Compute 2.0 all the way up to Compute 5.2 (we have only tested it with Maxwell and Pascal GPUs though). You can follow the development of this fork on the official dev thread, though it is in Japanese and you may need to use an online translation service.

If anyone speaks japanese and knows the guy, consider encouraging him to join the BCT SP CCminer thread on there and/or make his own thread there. It’s a shame he’s not very well known outside of his website.

How are you getting these speed, i have a gigabyte gtx 1080 and for exemple on the Lyrarev2 i’m only getting 43.54 (this is on windows 8.1)

Nothing special, tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10 and getting pretty much the same hashrate, have not tested under Win 8.x though.

Tried with gtx750 – needed to install latest driver, didn’t work with my old…
Speed is only 540khs on lyra2
With sp and r5 from this Japanese author – 1100khs

I’m getting about 50.2 MH/s with a very small overclock on my eVga 1080 (+122/+83). Compared to the CUDA 8 version, quite a bit better in terms of hashrate, but the v8 version let me use my comp for most non-gaming activities with no noticeable lag. After I set the intensity of this one to 20 (down from 22), I can surf and all, but there is still a bit of a hitch with the mouse and loading web pages. Oh well, I still like the hashrate increase over the cuda 8 version.

bleh, can’t edit my prev post. Oh well, meant to say that this is a non-FE card, and I’m doing lyra2rev2 (nicehash doesn’t have lyra2 it would seem)

I’m getting around 7000 KH/s on Lyra2REv2 with an overclocked GTX 750 Ti (+185 core, +285 memory). I also tested a GT 640 out of curiosity and that was getting 1700 KH/s overclocked (+200 core, +260 memory).

so i need install cuda toolkit 8.0?……….becase this version dont open on my rig ( gtx 980 – cuda 7.5)

This version is compiled with CUDA 8.0, so you need to update the video drivers to a recent version that supports CDUA 8.0 if you are not using the latest version already.
