crypto-exchange-rate-chart-ltc-usd

Here is a short list of the bigger and more popular crypto currency exchanges out there that trade with not only Bitcoin, but Litecoin as well as many other alternative cryptos. Some of these exchanges are trading only between different crypto coins for example BTC for LTC, or DOGE for BTC and you cannot buy with money in them – Cryptsy, but others also trade with real money and you can both deposit and withdraw in cash as well as in cryptocurrency – Mtgox. There are even exchanges that only serve to connect the traders – Local Bitcoins.

Worldwide:
Coinbase
Cryptsy
Bittrex
Kraken

Europe:
BitcoinDE
BitStamp
Bitcurex

Russia/China/Asia:
Binance
Bter
OkCoin
BTC China
Anxbtc

Norway:
Just Coin

Canada:
Cavitrex

USA:
Campbx

Israel:
Bit2c

Others:
Local Bitcoins
Coinomat

Now, although most of these crypto exchanges are listed under different countries and just a few as worldwide, in almost all you can trade regardless of your location though for some there could be a language barrier if they were designed to serve only a local market and do not have an English version for example. The only more serious problem with some is the ability for you to withdraw cash from the exchange if it also operates with real money and not only trades with crypto coins. So do take some time and check them out and find which ones can be useful for your specific needs… there are of course more exchanges out there, so this is not a complete list, but more of a good starting point.

bitcoin-wallet-importing-blocks-from-diskw

If you are just getting into Bitcoins and started by installing the Bitcoin wallet on your computer you may notice that the synchronization process with the Bitcoin network is taking up quite some time. This is due to the very large blockchain that has been generated so far and it will continue to grow even bigger, so besides more than 10 Gigabytes of space you need to be ready to wait a bit. There is however a clever solution that might speed thing up, you can download a file to help you import most of the blockchain locally much faster and then synchronize with the rest of the network in no time.

What to do guide:

– Download and install the Bitcoin wallet software, run it and then close it.
– Download the bootstrap.dat file (via a torrent client).
– Copy the bootstrap.dat file in the folder \Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin (for Windows) or in the Bitcoin data folder for other OSes
– Run the Bitcoin software to import most of the blockchain locally and then to download only the rest and synchronize the client

This will get you up to speed and running in no time and much faster than running the Bitcoin client and waiting for it to download and synchronize the complete blockchain from the start to the most recent blocks.

cexio-ghs-price-drop

If you were considering of trying out Bitcoin Cloud Mining, then now is your chance to get a better price per GHS at CEX.IO as currently there is a slight drop to below 0.0440 BTC per GHS as previously the exchange rate was over 0.0460 BTX per GHS. Buying cloud mining hashrate for Bitcoins at a lower price gives you a better chance to sell it later on with profit, besides the coins that the hasrate you’ve got has mined for you meanwhile. So it is a win-win situation – both profit from cloud mining Bitcoins and profit if/when you decide to sell your hashrate later. The good thing about Bitcoin Cloud Mining is that it is easy to get into it and requires no efforts on your side to setup, monitor and support any hardware – everything is automatically done for you and you just get the mined Bitcoins. And that continues for life or until you decide to sell your hashrate to another user and make some extra profit selling it at a higher price than you bought it.

For more information about the cloud service and to try Bitcoin Cloud Mining at CEX.IO…
