There is a new version of the popular closed source miner z-enemy-1.11 for Nvidia GPU mining rigs that is widely used for RavenCoin (RVN) mining, even though the miner has already evolved into supporting a lot other algorithms as well. The latest version 1.11 brings some performance improvements such as up to 4-8% for X17 and up to 1-3% for the X16R and X16S algorithms among others. It promises faster start on multi-gpu rigs with the maximum GPU limit increased to support up to 24 cards. The latest version of the miner supports Aerium’s new swap algo (-a aeriumx), starting 4th June – AeriumX (AEX). The new additions regarding supported algorithms are: C11 (-a c11) basic, Skunk (-a skunk) basic, as well as improved TimeTravel8 (-a timetravel) and Polytimos (-a poly) support.
We remind you that z-enemy is a closed source miner available only as a binary release and it contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development. There are binary releases available for both Windows and Linux, the official download links are posted below. The Windows binary release is available as CUDA 9.1 compiled executable, so make sure that you have an up to date driver in order to avoid having issues. Linux binaries are compiled for CUDA 8.0, 9.0 and 9.1.

There is now a new optimized open-source fork of ccminer with Ravencoin (RVN) X16r support called nevermore miner (source) that offers better stability compared to the initial ccMiner 2.2.5 with X16r support and similar performance to the closed source ccMiner Enemy 1.03 fork. So if you are worried about closed source miners, you might want to give the nevermore 0.1 miner a try and compile it from the source code yourself. Our initial tests show that the hashrate you get is pretty much the same with very small variation for either of the miners.
There are also official pre-compiled binaries available for Linux and Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) compiled for CUDA 9.0, though do note that these do come with a 1% dev donation fee included as a means to support the developer. You can increase the percentage with a command line parameter if you want to show your support with a higher donation percentage as well. If you compile the miner yourself from source you can remove the developer fee altogether, though you might wan to consider leaving the small 1% developer fee at least for a while.
The dstm’s ZCash Nvidia miner has been available for a while and we’ve been keeping a track, but it was only for Linux operating systems – not anymore. With the latest version 0.5.2 the miner is also released for Windows in a 64-bit binary and not anymore available only for Linux miners. The miner is closed source one and comes with a 2% developer fee included. It support Nvidia-based GPUs with Compute Capability 5.0 or later, meaning it is for Maxwell or the newer Pascal video cards. There is support available for stratum as well as for NiceHash extranonce, so it can be used there as well without problems for selling Equihash hashrate.
The dstm’s ZCash Nvidia Miner is supposed to be slightly faster than the popular and widely used EWBF’s CUDA Zcash miner that has not been updated for quite some time, so you might want to give the new miner a try. Our initial tests show a bit better hashrate with the same GPU settings as with the EWBF, though the difference is not huge. Do note that dstm’s miner has its own specifics that you need to get used with such as the use of a separate thread for each GPU and getting 6 separate workers on the pool from one mining rig for example. The interface could also use some improvements and some color coding can further help in readability, but in general it is quite Ok even at the moment. Do note that the 64-bit Windows binary is built with Visual Studio 2015, so if you do not have the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installed you might get an error about a missing DLL.
