It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
We have some more invites available for the invite-only Merit project that we have recently introduced, so if you are interested in joining it and trying it out feel free to apply using the link below. Merit (MRT) coins can currently be mined with Nvidia GPUs only, though AMD miner is in the works, there is already a third-parity Merit CUDA miner available that you can try as well. Merit has its own trading market for BTC with escrow that works fast and reliable, so you can trade what you mine already. Since it is invite only and invites need to be mined and it is not yet listed on any major exchange it is still kind of under the radar, but last month there has been significant growth with increased interest and more people learning about the project. We have a limited number of invites available to give away, so please do not waste them, we are going to send invites as soon as possible on a first-come, first-served basis. Sending multiple invite requests will not get you accepted faster, in fact will have the opposite effect!

The latest version 0.9.0 of the CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner for both Linux and Windows comes with a number of new mining algorithms added along with some fixes. The most notable new additions to the list of supported algorithms of the miner are CryptoNightV7 (Monero, Aeon), CryptoNightHeavy and CryptonightFast (Masari), though you also get support for Stellite and Lbk3 algorithms as well. DO note however that CryptoNightV7 and CryptoNightHeavy do not currently seem to work on NiceHash, though they should be fine for mining specific crypto currencies. Also have in mind that CryptoNight-based algorithms are generally performing better on AMD GPUs than on Nvidia. Our usual reminder that the CryptoDredge miner is a closed source software that comes with 1% built-in developer fee with binaries available for both Windows and Linux (CUDA 9.1/9.2).

Another update from the T-rex miner with the latest version 0.6.3 bringing support for some more new mining algorithms as well as performance improvements for a number of already supported ones. The new algorithms that got added in the latest version are Balloon, Polytimos and Skunk. The biggest performance improvement of 3-5% in terms of performance goes for Renesis and PHI, while Bitcore, C11, Sonoa, X16r/s and X17 are also getting a few percent extra hashrate. If you are mining an altcoin with any of the newly added algorithms or already using the T-Rex miner for any of the alread supported ones you will probably want to go to the latest version. Do have in mind that T-Rex is a closed source miner and that there is 1% development fee built-in and you need to have a recent video driver installed as the binaries for both Linux and Windows are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2.
