nicehash-control-280x-pack

We have already posted a package with the NiceHash Control tool for the GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPU for maximizing your mining profit by selling your hashrate on NiceHash. Today we have packaged the NiceHash Control tool with sgminer for use with AMD Radeon R9 280X or 7970 GPUs and having set the hashrate you get from a single card in the different algorithms. The tool will mine the most profitable algorithm choosing between X11, X13, X15 and NIST5 taking into account the hashrate you get with the various algorithms and checking if it should switch every minute based on current profitability.

All that you have to do is to set your BTC payment address in the config and run the AUTOSTART.BAT file, unless you have to do some hashrate changes in the config as well based on your mining rigs. You might also want to check out the Readme file for some extra information about the NiceHash Control tool. So far the tool is working pretty well, though it needs some more polishing, do note however that it is only available for Windows. Do note it is recommended to upgrade to the latest AMD beta drivers for optimal hashrate if you are still running on older version.

ccminer-1-2-x15-windows-new

The author of the ccMiner fork with support for the X15 algorithm for Nvidia GPU miners that goes by the nickname djm34 has updated his code to improve the compatibility and performance (source). We have compiled a windows binary and have tried the new version on a GeForce GTX 750 Ti and the hashrate we got now is about 1600 KHS, up from about 1450 KHS that we were getting with the previous release. On GeForce GTX 780 Ti you can expect to get around 3000 KHS in terms of hashrate, up from about 2600 KHS with the initial release with X15 support. Have in mind that this fork of ccMiner does also support other crypto algorithms and is not limited to only X15, check the help for more information on supported algorithms.

Below you can find a link to download our windows binary of the new miner. Do note that it is compiled for Compute 3.0, 3.5 and newer cards (32-bit version only) in a single binary, so it will not work on older cards. If you are unsure what version of Compute does your video card support check the included GPU Compute Capabilities List file. The binary is compiled with Visual Studio 2012 and is not compatible with Windows XP, so if you do not already have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 you will have to download and install it, otherwise you may get error for a missing DLL library.

ccminer-1-2-x14-windows

AMD miners already have an sgminer fork with X14 support and now Nvidia miners also have support for the X14 algorithm thanks to the djm34 fork of ccMiner (source). There are still not many X14 coins as it was just launched not long after X15 appeared, but we are probably soon going to see more than just X14Coin. Aside from the X14 support the fork also adds support for the Qubit algorithm, so if toy are interested in it you can also try it out. We have tested the new X14 support on a GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPU and we got a hashrate of about 2000 KHS on it.

We have compiled a windows binary of the new miner and you can download it from the link below. Do note that the windows binary is compiled for Compute 3.0 and 3.5+ (32-bit version only) in a single binary, so it will not work on older cards. If you are unsure what version of Compute does your video card support check the included GPU Compute Capabilities List file. It is also compiled with Visual Studio 2012, so if you do not already have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 you will have to download and install it, otherwise you may be getting error for a missing DLL library.
