Updated Miner Control 1.6.4 Pack for Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Here comes an update to our Miner Control tool package for Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPUs to reflect some of the recent changes. This version does add NeoScrypt support for NiceHash, WestHash and Yaamp as it was officially released in ccMiner by djm34. We have included the latest version of ccMiner 1.5.49-git Fork by SP for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs including the GTX 750 Ti, so that you can get optimum performance especially since there were quite a lot of optimizations ad fixes lately.

To be ready to use the GeForce GTX 750 Ti package you just need to update the account settings for each pool to reflect your BTC payment address. Do note that the default configuration that we have set is mining from time to time for the author of the software (Miner Control) as a donation alternative, but you can change that setting should you wish to. The package is ready to be used with GTX 750 Ti card, but you can also us it for other Nvidia GPUs or more cards (the ccMiner fork included is for Computer 5.0 and 5.2 cards only) – what you may need to reflect however in the config file is the total hashrate and power usage.

Bitcoin Investment Trust’s GBTC Shares Already Trading

The publicly traded shares of the Bitcoin Investment Trust (BIT) using the ticker GBTC, the first publicly traded vehicle tied to Bitcoin, have started trading yesterday with a good initial user interest. The initial share price was planned to be about one-tenth of the selling price of one Bitcoin minus fees, but we are already seeing the price per share rising above that level. So it seems that investors are interested in paying more for the about available shares now that public trading has started. GBTC shares are intended mostly for bigger investors that are not interested in operating with Bitcoins directly, but are also now available to everyone that prefers this kind of investment as an alternative to BTC trading. It will be interesting to see how will trading GBTC shares influence the price of Bitcoin in the following days when trading will hopefully increase significantly in volume as currently the traded volume is still pretty small – only 765 shares were traded yesterday. Updated Windows Binary of the ccMiner 1.5.49-git Fork by SP for Maxwell

New update in the form of a new Windows binary compiled from the latest source code of ccMiner 1.5.49-git SP-MOD fork of the Nvidia GPU miner optimized for the latest Maxwell-based video cards by SP (source). This version includes a lot of improvements and fixes such as the addition of Yescrypt and NeoScrypt support based on Djm34’s work, serious improvement for the performance of Blakecoin and more. The SP-MOD fork of ccMiner is designed for Nvidia Maxwell GPUs such as the already available GTX 750, 750 Ti as well as the newer GTX 960, GTX 970 and GTX 980. The Windows binary release we have made available here is compiled with support for Compute 5.0 and Compute 5.2 GPUs or with other words only for Maxwell-based cards with CUDA 6.5 and VS2013.
