The latest version 0.9.2 of the CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner for both Linux and Windows comes with a new algorithm supported as well as some performance improvements and fixes. The new algorithm getting added is CryptoNightSaber used by BitTube, Allium and Phi2 get performance improvements for GTX 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080 and 1080 Ti GPUs. The list of new features and improvements include the ability to set intensity per GPU, a fixed failover mechanism, disable miner to auto-start after system restart and added crash reporting mechanism. Our usual reminder that the CryptoDredge miner is a closed source software that comes with 1% built-in developer fee with binaries available for both Windows and Linux (CUDA 9.1/9.2).

The latest version 0.9.0 of the CryptoDredge Nvidia GPU miner for both Linux and Windows comes with a number of new mining algorithms added along with some fixes. The most notable new additions to the list of supported algorithms of the miner are CryptoNightV7 (Monero, Aeon), CryptoNightHeavy and CryptonightFast (Masari), though you also get support for Stellite and Lbk3 algorithms as well. DO note however that CryptoNightV7 and CryptoNightHeavy do not currently seem to work on NiceHash, though they should be fine for mining specific crypto currencies. Also have in mind that CryptoNight-based algorithms are generally performing better on AMD GPUs than on Nvidia. CryptUnit is an interesting new service offering up to date data for Cryptonote-based altcoins that you can mine, giving you profitability information along with more details about each of the supported coins. You just need to enter your Cryptonight hashrate and the service will calculate what is the most profitable coin to mine at the moment and give you some extra useful information such as pools and exchanges if you are not familiar with the coin. Of course profitability varies all the time, so things change and the most profitable coins vary all the time. Currently the service covers 16 different Cryptonote coins that can be mined with CPU or GPU (both AMD and Nvidia). The people most interested in this service are probably going to be the ones with AMD-based video cards especially RX VEGA 56/64 due to their very high mining performance especially in the Cryptonight algorithm.
