The latest version 0.8.0 for the T-Rex Nvidia GPU miner brings support for one new PoW algorithm, namely the Geek (GeekCash Coin), a crypto project that has been available for a couple of months already, so not a new launch just to let you know. The update also comes with some relatively small performance improvements (1-3%) for the x16-like algorithms for both Nvidia GTX and RTX video cards. The latest version also introduces a dded watchdog functionality along with some cosmetic changes and some bug fixes and improvements to make the use of the miner easier. Do note that the T-Rex is a closed source miner with 1% development fee built-in. Also make sure you have a recent video driver installed (the latest for CUDA 10 support) as the binaries for both Linux and Windows are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0.

The new version of the z-enemy 1.24 Nvidia GPU miner (ver. 3 already with some fixes) comes with massive performance boost for the new Nvidia RTX 2080, RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2070 GPUs in many of the supported algorithms, so make sure you update if you are already mining with the new RTX GPUs. There are also major optimizations for Skunk, Polytimos and Phi as well as some minor optimizations for Hex, X16r, X16s and Tribus that will work on older GPUs and not only on the latest generation that is still rarely used for mining. The latest update also adds Nvidia Volta architecture support, though that is not a very commonly used series of GPUs for crypto mining.

The latest z-enemy version 1.24 is available for CUDA 9.1, 9.2 and 10.0 for 64-bit Windows versions as well as CUDA 9.0, CUDA 9.1, CUDA 9.2 and CUDA 10 binaries for Linux (HiveOS, PiMP OS, EthOS & Ubuntu). Make sure that you have the respective recent video driver version installed for the CUDA version you want to use – 388+ for 9.1, 397+ for 9.2 and 411+ for CUDA 10.0. We remind you that z-enemy is a closed source miner available only as a binary release and it contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development.

The development for the WildRig Multi AMD GPU miner continues with the latest 0.12.9 Beta bringing some more performance improvements for various supported algorithms on the table. It fixes the hashrate drops observed with X22i and adds performance improvements for that algorithm up to about 10% compared tot he 0.12.8 release that also brought some speed improvements for all algorithms. There is also a slight boost in performance for the X16r, X16s and X17 algorithms in the latest update.

Do note that the WildRig Multi currently supports only AMD GPUs with the newer RX series and VEGA out of the box and there is a separate download of binary kernels needed for older R9 series Fiji, Hawaii and Tonga. Unlike its predecessor the WildRig Multi miner does not support Nvidia GPUs, it will only work on AMD-based mining rigs. The WildRig Multi 0.12.9 Beta is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced.
