Just like we have recently prepared a Miner Control 1.5.5 Pack for Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti that can be used for other Nvidia-based GPUs as well it is also time to update the NiceHash Control Tool version for Radeon R9 280x to the new Miner Control. Do note that you can use this package with other AMD-based Radeon cards, however to ensure proper calculation of the actual profit and to use the most profitable algorithms for your miner you will have to edit the configuration settings for the supported algorithms.

So here it is, a Miner Control package with the latest sgminer 5.0.1 development version along with the OpenCL libraries from the AMD drivers 14.6 to ensure proper support for NeoScrypt if you are using newer drivers. The package is configured for a single Radeon R9 280X GPU with the settings for each algorithm based on a reference non-overclocked card and is configured to work NiceHash, TradeMyBit, Yaamp and Wafflepool, supporting only the more profitable X11, X13, X15, NIST5 and NeoScrypt algorithms.

To be ready to use the Radeon R9 280X package you just need to update the account settings for each pool to reflect your BTC payment address and only for TradeMyBit you would need to set your account worker id and your API key for the current prices (inside the configuration file). Do note that the default configuration that we have set is mining from time to time for the author of the software (Miner Control) as a donation alternative, but you can change that setting should you wish to.

It has been a while since we have released a package using the NiceHash Control Tool ready to be used on Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPUs and since that time the tool has been replaced by its author with a new one called Miner Control that has more features and supports other mining pools as well. So we have updated out Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti mining package using the latest ccMiner fork from SP optimized for Maxwell GPUs and with a configuration to be ready to be used along with the new Miner Control 1.5.5 tool.

You can download the package below with settings already set for non-overclocked GTX 750 Ti, if you are going to be using it on multiple card mining rigs you need to multiply the hashrate for the algorithms supported. The package will also function just fine on GTX 970 and GTX 980 cards where you would need to multiply the power usage and hashrate numbers by roughly 3 times to get the correct calculations working. Of course the best thing would be to set the right values for hashrate and power usage in the config file that the mining rig you have will produce. The GTX 750 Ti package is configured to work NiceHash, TradeMyBit, Yaamp and Wafflepool, supporting only the more profitable X11, X13, X15 and NIST5 algorithms.

To be ready to use it you just need to update the account settings for each pool to reflect your BTC payment address and only for TradeMyBit you would need to set your account worker id and your API key for the current prices. Do note that the default configuration that we have left is set to mine from time to time for the author of the software (Miner Control) as a donation alternative, but you can change that setting should you wish to.

The successor of the NiceHash Control tool is now here and it is called Miner Control. The software from the same author, StuffOfInterest on Bitcointalk, is built on top of the basic profit switching algorithm use in NiceHash Control, but now comes with more pools supported. With Miner Control you are now able to switch between the most profitable pool among the following:NiceHash, TradeMyBit and YAAMP. There is also a manual configurations support for last resort backup pool also available, something that we have implemented in the form of a workaround for our mining packages that we have released for AMD and Nvidia that were using the NiceHash Control tool some time ago. We are soon going to be updating these packages to take advantage of the new features and functionality that the Miner Control offers, but meanwhile you can check out the new application and read about all of the new features and options it offers and also do your own configurations pairing it with a miner of your choice.
