The latest T-Rex Nvidia GPU miner version 0.11.1 brings very significant increase in the hashrate you get for the X25x algorithm that was recently added as supported… up to 3x the speed. The X25x algorithm is used by the SINOVATE (SIN) project (the former SUQA) and the performance you get with the latest T-Rex is up from abut 2.3 MHS for a single GTX 1080 Ti to about 6.8 MHS per card, or with other words from about 14 MHS to about 41 MHS for a 6x GTX 1080 Ti mining rig. The latest version also brings some new features and fixes to make the miner more usable and problem free.

Do note that the T-Rex is a closed source miner with 1% development fee built-in. Also make sure you have a recent video driver installed (the latest for CUDA 10 support) as the binaries for both Linux and Windows are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0.

The former SUQA project, now SINOVATE (SIN), is about to hardfork in a couple of hours with numerous changes going into effect at block 170,000 that should be reached in a couple of hours time. With the hardfork there will be a new algorithm going into effect, switching from the old X22i to the new X25x algorithm for mining. The new algorithm is heavier and more memory intensive, so the hashrate you will be getting after the fork is gong to be lower with X25x compared to what you would be getting with X22i. There are already miners available for both Nvidia and AMD GPUs, you can find the expected performance below for GTX 1080 Ti and RX 580 8GB and as one would expect Nvidia is doing better for the new algorithm as well. Make sure you re ready for the hardfork by upgrading your wallet now, before the hardfork occurs… download the latest SIN wallet here.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti – T-Rex 0.11.0
– X22i: 18.85 MH/s (6x 113.12 MH/s)
– X25x: 2.31 MH/s (6x 13.83 MH/s)

AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB – WildRig Multi 0.17.3
– X22i: 5.08 MH/s (8x 40.71 MH/s)
– X25x: 0.74 MH/s (8x 5.93 MH/s)

The latest WildRig Multi Beta AMD GPU miner is now ready for the upcoming SUQA/SIN fork as well with support for the new X25x mining algorithm that will be used by the project after the fork. NVIDIA miners can go for the already available T-Rex 011.0 miner with support for the X25 algo. The fork was supposed to happen on block 165,000 a couple of days ago, but it has been postponed for block 170,000, so a few more days until it hits. There are already a couple of mining pools running on the testnet with the X25x algo were you an give the new miners a go and see how they handle on your mining hardware. Do note that the X25x s heavier and requires more video memory compared to what the old X22i algorithm that is also supported by both WildRig Multi for AMD and T-Rex for Nvidia GPUs.

Supported AMD GPUs:
– GCN 2nd gen: R7 260, R9 290, R9 295X2, R7 360, R9 390
– GCN 3rd gen: R9 285, R9 380, R9 Fury, R9 Nano
– GCN 4th gen: RX460, RX470, RX480, RX550, RX560, RX570, RX580, RX590
– GCN 5th gen: Vega 56, Vega 64, Radeon VII(but need some changes for better performance)

Unsupported AMD GPUs:
Pitcairn, Tahiti and other old cards of GCN 1st gen (like HD 78×0, HD 79×0, R7 265, R9 270, R9 280, R9 370, etc.) are not supported and won’t be, because they are too old and need additional work.

The latest WildRig Multi is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced. wildkeccak and honeycomb algorithms are with fixed 2% dev fee with no possibility to change.
