It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
We have already posted a package with the NiceHash Control tool for the GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPU for maximizing your mining profit by selling your hashrate on NiceHash. Today we have packaged the NiceHash Control tool with sgminer for use with AMD Radeon R9 280X or 7970 GPUs and having set the hashrate you get from a single card in the different algorithms. The tool will mine the most profitable algorithm choosing between X11, X13, X15 and NIST5 taking into account the hashrate you get with the various algorithms and checking if it should switch every minute based on current profitability.
All that you have to do is to set your BTC payment address in the config and run the AUTOSTART.BAT file, unless you have to do some hashrate changes in the config as well based on your mining rigs. You might also want to check out the Readme file for some extra information about the NiceHash Control tool. So far the tool is working pretty well, though it needs some more polishing, do note however that it is only available for Windows. Do note it is recommended to upgrade to the latest AMD beta drivers for optimal hashrate if you are still running on older version.

what hashrates would I use for two 7950s?

Charlie, just start NiceHash Control manually (not via the autostart.bat) and run individually the miner for the different algorithms to see what hashrate you are getting for each algorithm on your hardware, then just update the values you get in the config file.

Great work !
I’m making some test on it right now and it does seem to do what it’s supposed to.
I hope you will keep a version updated with all the algos for amd gpus !

This works fantastic, I have both 7970s and 280xs and it takes care of it all. I just wanted to say thanks for all you guys do. anytime I need some software or if I’m researching any hardware, you’re my first stop! I really appreciate the effort you put in. Keep up the good work.

Is there something like this for an R9 290?

Coffee, this will work just fine on R9 290, just the profit calculation might be a bit off, but the profitability for the different algorithms will still be Ok. What you can do is to check what individual hashrate you are getting for the different algorithms and update it in the config file for your mining hardware.

NiceHash has some downtime from time to time, so a backup pool is a good idea to have, we are going to update the NiceHash Control package with support for backup pool, the configuration just needs some more work as the tool officially has no support for backup pools.
