The last major release of Bminer 10.0.0 has introduced support for Equihash 144,5 mining, though it was limited to only Zhash used by Bitcoin Gold (BTG), but the latest update 10.2.0 opens up the doors to all Equihash 144,5 coins. You can now mine all coins that use the Equihash 144,5 with the use of the -pers command line parameter setting up the coin you want to mine. You can now mine BitcoinZ, SafeCoin, ZelCash, SnowGem and others that use the Equihash 144,5 algorithm with the latest Bminer 10.2.0. We remind you that that Bminer is a closed source Nvidia GPU miner available for Linux and Windows in the form of pre-compiled binaries and that there is a 2% development fee for Bytom (BTM), Equihash and Zhash coins, 0.65% for Ethash and 1.3% for dual mining Ethash and Blake.

The latest release of the NebuTech BTMiner Nvidia GPU miner version 8.0 for mining Bytom (BTM) claims once more the top spot in terms of performance with the ongoing competition with Bminer. The latest NebuTech miner comes with higher hashrate by 10-15% over the previous release and improved pool efficiency, so you should be getting even better results with it. We remind you that the NebuTech BTMiner is a closed source Bytom (BTM) GPU miner for Nvidia CUDA that is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems and it has a 3% developer fee built-in. The full changelog of the new NebuTech BTMiner 8.0 is available below, but the performance improvements are pretty much the most important ones anyway in our opinion.

NebuTech BTMiner 8.0 Changelog:
– Improved hashrate 10% – 15%.
– Lower skipped share rate, increase actual hashrate on mining pool.
– Added display for mining pool latency.
– Added display for mining pool difficulty.
– Improve API web monitor.

A quick updated to the recently released Bminer 10.0.0 regarding Bytom (BTM) has been released. The new version addresses a problem with performance degradation over time when mining BTM, so that should not be an issue anymore. Currently Bminer is the fastest Bytom (BTM) miner out there, though sadly it offers only limited pool support, so you cannot use it on all of the available big pools and that limits its usability… something that also needs addressing in our opinion. So if you are mining BTM with Bminer, then it will be a wise idea to update and get the performance fix.

We remind you that Bminer is a closed source Nvidia GPU miner available for Linux and Windows in the form of pre-compiled binaries and that there is a 2% development fee for Bytom (BTM), Equihash and Zhash coins, 0.65% for Ethash and 1.3% for dual mining Ethash and Blake. The other alternative Bytom (BTM) miner at the moment for the Tensority algorithm is BTMiner NebuTech, also only working on Nvidia GPUs like Bminer.
