The Ezil.me mining pool mines Ethereum (ETH) or Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Zilliqa (ZIL) simultaneously. Most of the time the pool is mining ETH or ETC, but just before a ZIL mining round starts, which is every few hours, the pool will automatically switch to ZIL mining for a minute, then it instantly switches back to mining ETH or ETC. From the individual miner’s perspective, no action is required as everything happens automatically in the background, and the reward is credited and paid the same way for both dual-mined crypto coins (ETH+ZIL or ETC+ZIL). The pool does not require a registration, you just need an ETH and ZIL wallet addresses as they are your user IDs for login. An easy way to get ZIL wallet address is to use a supported exchange such as Binance, though we do not generally recommend direct mining of crypto coins to an exchange.
The Ezil.me pool has a minimum payout for Ethereum set at 0.05 ETH and a minimum of 30 ZIL (you can increase them over these values) with daily payouts if the minimums are met. Mining rewards are credited to your pool balance every 30 minutes, so do not worry if you do not see any mined ZIL coins immediately after the mining round finishes. The pool has 1% default commission for miners though if you use the promo code 509cd, you will get an extra 0.10% cashback for two weeks, essentially lowering the initial mining fee of the pool from 1% to 0.9% for some time. Here comes another update after the recent BMiner 16.1.0 release, the new Bminer 16.2.0 adds support for the new KAWPOW mining algorithm to be used by Ravencoin (RVN) after the fork later today as well as support for the ProgPoW algorithm used by crypto coins such as SERO. Preformance wise ProgPoW and KAWPOW hashrate does not seem to be much different than what all other miners with support for Ravencoin’s new algorithm currently offer. The new version also brings improvements to the performance when mining Aeternity and BFC, so worth updating if you are mining either of those as well.
Do not that although Bminer does support AMD and Nvidia GPUs, not all of the algorithms will work on AMD hardware, so it is mostly usable for Nvidia GPU owners. Have in mind that neither KAWPOW, no ProgPoW currently work on AMD GPUs, so yo can use this software for mining Ravencoin after the fork and SERO only on Nvidia. The same also goes for the Aeternity and BFC algorithms that got some performance boost in the latest release, they also work only on Nvidia GPUs. So far the only KAWPOW miner that supports AMD GPUs is NBMiner, so if you have Radeon GPUs and want to mine RVN after the fork it will be your only option for now.

It has been a while since we have covered new Bminer releases, so we are going t mention that there is new Bmine 16.1.0 that comes with added support for BFC and Cuckatoo32, as well as fixes fidelity issues on Cuckaroo29m and improved stability of ETH mining. As for the reason we haven’t covered this particular miner, it is not because of lack of updates, it is because of a specific issue that is still not fixed under Windows. So half of the reason is because we want to mention how users that are having issues running Bminer on their Windows-based Nvidia GPU mining rigs can resolve it now and not have to wait for a new version that finally fixes this.
If you run Bminer and get an error saying “Failed to initialize the CUDA platform: CudaError: Could not initialize the NVML library” then there is nothing wrong with your mining hardware, the problem is in the Bminer. The reason is that newer Nvidia GPU drivers have moved the nvml.dll library that the miner uses into a new location and Bminer is looking for the NVML dynamic link library in a specific location, so even if you copy the DLL file in the same folder where the miner is it will still not work. If you are using newer Nvidia drivers you will have to copy the “nvml.dll” file from the “\Windows\System32\” folder to “\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI\” and have in mind that you need to create the NVSMI folder there as it will not exist and then copy the DLL. Running Bminer after copying the library (do not move the file, or other programs might stop working properly, just copy it!) to the specified folder should eliminate the error message and the miner should start normally again.
