It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
The latest update to version v13.0.1 of the BzMiner GPU miner brings support for mining NEXA, a project we talked about back in December last year. BzMiner is the second miner to bring support for this new project with the other one being WildRig Multi, however it seems that BzMiner’s implementation is a bit faster and with just 3% miner fee compared to the 5% that are charged by the WildRig Multi miner, so switching to BzMiner v13.0.1 if you are mining NEXA is a must at the moment. NEXA has been quite profitable for miners for a while now and it was just recently added to a second exchange for trading – TxBit.
NEXA is getting added on other mining pools besides the initial availability on Rpool and miners are supporting them, so you might want to try and spread the hashpower by mining on a different mining pool now. The only thing that you should be well aware of as a miner of NEXA is that it takes 5+ days for newly mined coins to be released from the pool to be sent to your wallet. Also have in mind that for now BzMiner only supports mining on Nvidia GPUs! Another useful feature of the BzMiner software is the dual-mining support for mining any coin together with Zilliqa (ZIL), so you can essentially dual-mine NEXA and ZIL and get a nice boost in profitability without pretty much any loss of mining performance.

Lately we are seeing lots of new mineable Layer 1 crypto projects that are interesting and promising, as well as some that are not as usual, but after Ethereum’s switch to PoS crypto miners with GPUs are eagerly looking for interesting new and profitable projects to point their hashrate at. NEXA is yet another one of those promising new crypto projects that can be mined with GPUs that we want to point your attention to, it has been launched a couple of months ago, but until recently was largely running under the radar. NEXA could initially be mined only with CPU, but GPU mining was just recently launched and that is what spiked the growing interest in the project significantly. NEXA uses a custom mining algorithm that is also GPU-intensive, meaning that more powerful video cards will have higher hashrate and memory can be downlocked for lower power consumption. It is interesting to note that the project has a very high total coin emission of 21 Trillion, yes, that is a LOT of zeroes with a block time of 2 minutes and 10 Million NEXA coins block reward… apart from that concern definetly worth checking it out and mining some coins.
Up until yesterday NEXA had to be mined on the official Pool137 with the official nxminer (available only for Linux), but now there is also the WildRig Multi 0.35.0 beta miner with support for the nexapow algorithm available (with a 5% dev fee though) for both Windows and Linux GPU miners (Nvidia GPUs for now only, AMD support coming soon). You can also mine NEXA on the Rplant pool, however have in mind that the pool currently has a requirement set for 5000 block confirmations for mined blocks and that means you can wait up to a week to have your mined coins available. Trading of NEXA coins is also already possible on an exchange with currently only Exbitron supporting the coin and with multiple trading pairs for NEXA available – NEXA/EXTO, NEXA/BCH and NEXA/USDT. At the moment the mining profitability is insane with the current price of NEXA, however the catch is that the coins you mine now will be released from the pool for trading in about 5 days!
Update: New WildRig Multi 0.35.1 beta 2 miner is now available with AMD GPU mining support and up to 20% improved hashrate for Nvidia GPUs, so if you are mining NEXA or plan to do so you should get the updated miner.
Update 2: WildRig Multi 0.35.3 beta miner is out now with improved NEXAPOW up to 40% depending on GPU!

The latest WildRig Multi 0.24.0 Beta AMD GPU miner is just what the doctor ordered for Ravencoin (RVN) miners with AMD GPU as it is taking the top spot in terms of hashrate with the latest performance updates. At least with the default settings it is on par with what the previous fastest AMD miner for KAWPOW – nanominer manages to provide you in terms of hashrate on RX 4×0/5×0 series of GPUs, as far as the newer Navi cards are concerned it is possible that the latest nanominer is still better. The new version also brings two alternative kernels for KAWPOW that you can try to see if you can get a bit of extra performance from your hardware, you can set them with the --progpow-kernel
command line option with values 1 and 2 respectively. The second one worked better in our tests providing us with higher and more stable hashrate compared to the first and the default kernel.
The latest WildRig Multi is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 1% developer fee built-in by default, however have in mind that the following algorithms are still with 2% dev fee – lyra2TDC, sha256csm, x17r and wildkeccak.
