The latest T-Rex Nvidia GPU miner version 0.11.0 adds support for the new X25x algorithm to be used by the SUQA/SIN Project in the upcoming hardfork planned for block 165,000 or around 24th-25th May. So far this is the first and the only miner for the new X25x algorithm to be ready ahead of the fork, so if you are planning on mining SUQA/SIN after the fork make sure you are ready. Aside from the support for the new algorithm, the new latest T-Rex brings some bug fixes that help improve the stability of the miner. The previous release T-Rex 0.10.2 from a couple of days ago also brought support for the MTP algorithm (Zcoin), so this is something new if you have missed the previous update and are still on the pretty old 0.9.2 version.

Do note that the T-Rex is a closed source miner with 1% development fee built-in. Also make sure you have a recent video driver installed (the latest for CUDA 10 support) as the binaries for both Linux and Windows are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0.

Efudd’s modified firmware for the Bitmain AntMiner Z series ASIC miners now supports the Bitmain AntMiner Z11 with its latest update to version 2.3, AntMiner Z9 is supported by version 2.2 and for the AntMiner Z9-Mini you need to use the version 2.1d. The modified firmware allows for more advanced overclock including frequency and voltage tuning with voltage controls per hashboard option available. With the modified firmware it is easier to achieve higher performance than with the stock firmware that has limited OC capabilities by Bitmain. According to the developer of the modified firmware 150+ KSol/s (up from the stock 135 KSol/s) should be doable with minimal tuning and further increase to 170-180 KSol/s might be achievable with more power, careful tuning, good cooling and some luck.

Do note that the modified firmware comes with a built-in 3% developer fee, so the miner will be mining for the developer 10 minutes out of every 330 minutes it is operating.

More updates from the WildRig Multi AMD GPU miner with the latest version 0.16.3 Beta bringing some more performance improvements for various supported and new algorithms. Starting with version 16.0 there is support for a number of new crypto algorithms including wildkeccak, honeycomb and xevan along with number of additional performance improvements and optimizations for these algorithms. The latest version continues to improve some hashorders for x16 family of algorithms (JH512 in middle, SIMD at start) and comes with special improvement for Vega on almost all of the supported algorithms (bcd, x16-fmaily, hex, x22i, etc.).

Do note that the WildRig Multi currently supports only AMD GPUs with the newer RX series and VEGA out of the box, while for older R9 series Fiji, Hawaii and Tonga there is a separate download available with binary kernels. The WildRig Multi 0.16.3 Beta is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced. wildkeccak and honeycomb algorithms are with fixed 2% dev fee with no possibility to change.
