It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
The NiceHash platform for leasing and renting crypto hashrate has announced the addition of a new crypto algorithm to their list of supported algorithms – the Zhash algorithm or Equihash with parameter set 144,5. This algorithm is currently used as a PoW algorithm with Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Anon (ANON) and BitcoinZ (BTCZ) and other projects. The Zhash algorithm works by increasing the hardware requirements of Equihash to make the development of an ASIC appliance less viable and to put back GPU mining in control for the projects using this algorithm. Aside from support for Zhash on the marketplace for hashrate, mining Zhash is also supported through the latest NiceHash Miner Legacy (1.9.0.8) as well as third party miners of course.
Another popular service for renting and leasing mining rigs Mining Rig Rentals (MRR) has been offering Zhash (Equihash 144,5) for quite some time, though the market there is usually smaller compared to what NiceHash is capable of providing in terms of hashrate. Apart from Zhash this service also offers support for Equihash 96,5 as well as Equihash 192,7 and Equihash 210,9 so if you need any of these you can check the MRR service as well.
One more fast update to version 0.8.3 for the T-Rex Nvidia GPU miner that adds a new algorithm – X21S. The new X21S algorithm is used by the newly launched Ritocoin (RITO), a fork of Ravencoin (RVN) with modified mining algorithm that consists of 16 shuffled algorithms followed by 5 others. If you are interested you can check RITO out, it was just recently launched and is also mineable on AMD GPUs with the latest WildRig Multi miner. Do note that the T-Rex is a closed source miner with 1% development fee built-in. Also make sure you have a recent video driver installed (the latest for CUDA 10 support) as the binaries for both Linux and Windows are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0.

More updates from the WildRig Multi AMD GPU miner with the latest version 0.13.4 Beta bringing some more performance improvements for various supported algorithms as well as support for newly introduced crypto algorithms. The latest version adds support for the X21S and Dedal algorithms and the previous few 0.13 updates have introduced support for Aergo and X18 as well. The performance improvements for the mining speed cover the following algorithms: hex, hmq1725, x16r, x16s, x22i, sonoa, x17, x18 and maybe even more from the supported ones since the 0.13 release.
Do note that the WildRig Multi currently supports only AMD GPUs with the newer RX series and VEGA out of the box and there is a separate download of binary kernels needed for older R9 series Fiji, Hawaii and Tonga. Unlike its predecessor the WildRig Multi miner does not support Nvidia GPUs, it will only work on AMD-based mining rigs. The WildRig Multi 0.13.4 Beta is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 2% developer fee built-in by default, though it can be reduced.
