Download the SFMiner 2.1 English Software for Silver Fish Scrypt ASIC Miners

Silver Fish is a Chinese company making Scrypt ASIC miners based on 55nm Scrypt ASIC chips developed in-house called SF300K01. Obviously the main target for the 25 MHS and the 70 MHS Scrypt ASIC miners that Silver Fish makes is the Chinese market and thus they do not even have an English version of their website. Their miners, especially the smaller 25 MHS Silver Fish Blade Scrypt ASICs, are already finding their way in other parts of the world, but you may have some trouble finding a lot of information and software downloads about these. Since the miners are currently only controllable via a Windows-based PC software you may have some trouble finding the English version of the software – SFminer R2.1 EN, so we have provided a link to download it below. It seems that there is also a newer version available R3.04, however that version is currently only available in Chinese only.

NiceHash Control Tool With AMD Radeon 280X Support

We have already posted a package with the NiceHash Control tool for the GeForce GTX 750 Ti GPU for maximizing your mining profit by selling your hashrate on NiceHash. Today we have packaged the NiceHash Control tool with sgminer for use with AMD Radeon R9 280X or 7970 GPUs and having set the hashrate you get from a single card in the different algorithms. The tool will mine the most profitable algorithm choosing between X11, X13, X15 and NIST5 taking into account the hashrate you get with the various algorithms and checking if it should switch every minute based on current profitability.

All that you have to do is to set your BTC payment address in the config and run the AUTOSTART.BAT file, unless you have to do some hashrate changes in the config as well based on your mining rigs. You might also want to check out the Readme file for some extra information about the NiceHash Control tool. So far the tool is working pretty well, though it needs some more polishing, do note however that it is only available for Windows. Do note it is recommended to upgrade to the latest AMD beta drivers for optimal hashrate if you are still running on older version.

CGMiner 4.3.5 with GridSeed and Zeus Scrypt ASIC Support

There is a new cgminer 4.3.5 fork available with support for the Zeus-based Scrypt ASIC miners as well as Gridseed Scrypt ASICs by a user called dmaxl (source). This version brings cgminer more up to date in terms of supported features for the users of ZeusMiner-based ASICs as well as for Gridseed users. We have compiled a windows binary of this new cgminer fork that you can download and try from the link below. Do note that you may need to replace the CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller driver with a WinUSB one by using the Zadig software, though direct serial control will also work by specifying the correct COM port of the miner to use (check the Readme file for more details). We have successfully managed to run the miner but do note that it crashes sometimes, so it might not be working perfectly yet and it may also needs a bit more work on support.
