The latest TT-Miner 3.1.0 Beta 3 comes with added support for the Eaglesong algorithm used by the Nervos (CKB) making this yet another option for a GPU miner for Eaglesong. This update also removes support for the Myriad-Groestl and the Teo version of Ethash (TEO), brings some improvements for the MTP algorithm on RTX GPUs and some small improvements for all ProgPoW variants (ProgPoW, ProgPoWZ and ProgPoW092). Do note that if you get a missing DLL error when trying to run the miner on Windows you may need to download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019.

As far as performance for EagleSong is concerned, we are seeing slightly slower performance with TT-Miner compared to the latest NBMiner and GMiner (100+ MH/s slower on GTX 1080 Ti), so definetly needs some more optimizations to ctch up to the fastest Nvidia GPU miners. Is it worth the effort however is entirely different thing as there is information about FPGA support available for the EagleSong algorithm the bitstreams and miners available for Alveo U200 and Xilinx VCU1525 FPGAs, though with the current performance GPU mining on high-end GPUs might still be viable for a while.

TT-Miner supports ProgPOW, Ethash, UBQhash, MTP, Lyra2REv3, Epic and EagleSong algorithms on Nvidia GPUs and is available for Windows and Linux as pre-compiled binaries, a closed source miner with 1% developer fee for all of the supported algorithms.

The latest NBMiner 26.1 update comes with a bit of improvement in the performance for mining CKB on Nvidia GPUs as well as support for Dual Mining ETH + CKB on AMD GPUs (dual mining was already available for Nvidia users). This update is just in time for the official launch for the Nervos CKB mainnet launch planned for tomorrow that uses the Eaglesong mining algorithm. Aside from NBMiner, you can also use GMiner and SRBMiner-MULTI for the Eaglesong algorithm, though with the latest update NBMiner should be slightly faster on Nvidia than GMiner.

We remind you that the NBMiner is a closed source GPU miner for Nvidia CUDA and now AMD as well that is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems and it has the following developer fee built-in: tensority_ethash 3%, tensority (Pascal) 2%, tensority (Turing) 3%, ethash 0.65%, cuckaroo & cuckatoo & cuckaroo_swap 2%, progpow_sero 2%, sipc 2%, bfc 3%.

The Nervos project is nearing its CKB v1.0 Mainnet launch called Lina planned for November 16th or in a week from today, though even in the last days of the testnet you are still able to mine CKB coins thanks to the testnet mining competitions being ran. If you take part in any of these mining competitions the testnet tokens mined will be moved to the mainnet when it launches, though there are some specifics things that you may want to read carefully. The Eaglesong algorithm is more GPU intensive and thus works better on more powerful Nvidia GPUs than on what most widely used AMD cards can deliver, though mining is possible on both AMD and Nvidia hardware. Some good crypto exchanges to trade CKB coins include Bittrex, Citex and Gateio.

There are a number of miners available with support for the Eaglesong algorithm available, though probably the most interesting for Nvidia miners will be NBMiner 26.0 (AMD is also supported) for the moment as it supports dual mining of ETH and CKB. If using dual mining on GDDR5X GPUs make sure you also have the OhGodAnETHlargementPill running as it will help you maximize both the Ethash and Eaglesong hashrates. For instance on GTX 1080 Ti you may be getting 400 MHS on Eaglesong and 33 MHS for Ethash without the pill, and when you run it the performance should go to something like 500 / 42. Mining only CKB should get you around 1100 MHS as hashrate on the same hardware. The latest GMiner 1.73 has also added support for CKB mining for both AMD and Nvidia and it delivers pretty much the same hashrate on 1080 Ti as the NBMiner, though no dual mining in this release (ETH + CKB dual mining should most likely come in next GMiner release). AMD GPU miners have another option for a miner and it is SRBMiner-MULTI that also supports Eaglesong mining. If you are interested in a pool where you can mine CKB, then you might want to start with f2pool, hashpool or spark pool for a start.
