New Faster Bytom (BTM) NebuTech BTMiner for Nvidia GPU Mining Rigs

The NebuTech BTMiner is the first Nvidia GPU miner for Bytom (BTM) and although the early versions were a bit problematic it is pretty stable now. Last month Bminer 9.0.0 got BTM support and it was faster in terms of hashrate, but the latest version of BTMiner NebuTech v5.1 is the fastest once more leaving the Antminer B3 Bytom ASIC miners in the dust in terms of performance. The Antminer B3 ASIC miner currently probably does just about half the hashrate of a single GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GPU. Unfortunately while the hashrate of Bytom (BTM) is increasing the price of the coins seems to be going down slowly at the moment. Then there is also the problem with the fact that there are BTM tokens as well as BTM coins and this also creates some confusion among users where and how to trade the different crypto assets.

NiceHash and Excavator Now With Support for the X16R Algorithm

The X16R crypto algorithm introduced by RavenCoin (RVN) is getting more widely supported now that NiceHash has added support for users to sell and purchase X16R mining hashrate. Along with the support on the website for X16R the Excavator Nvidia GPU miner software developed by the service and also a part of their NiceHash Miner software also got support for the X16R algorithm. Apart for the new support of the X16R crypto algorithm, the Excavator miner also supports the following algorithms on more recent Nvidia GPUs: equihash, pascal, decred, sia, lbry, blake2s, daggerhashimoto, lyra2rev2, keccak, neoscrypt, cryptonightV7 and lyra2z as well as three dual mining modes: daggerhashimoto_decred, daggerhashimoto_sia and daggerhashimoto_pascal. New z-enemy 1.12 Nvidia Miner With New Algorithms and Improved Performance

There is a new version of the popular closed source miner z-enemy-1.12 for Nvidia GPU mining rigs that is widely used for X16R coins such as RavenCoin (RVN), though the miner also supports quite a lot of other algorithms in the more recent versions. The latest release 1.12 add support for two new crypto algorithms – Sonoa and PHI2, and also brings slight performance increase in a number of already supported algorithms: X17, X16r, X16s, C11, Bitcore, Aeriumx and others. So if you are using the z-enemy miner you might want to update to the latest version of the software.

We remind you that z-enemy is a closed source miner available only as a binary release and it contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development. There are binary releases available for both Windows and Linux, the official download links are posted below. The Windows binary release is available as CUDA 9.1 and CUDA 9.2 compiled executable, so make sure that you have an up to date driver in order to avoid having issues. Linux binaries are compiled for CUDA 9.1 for the moment and should work fine out of the box on Ubuntu and HiveOS.
