It Is All About BTC, LTC, ETH, DOGE, KAS mining as well as other alternative crypto currencies
Team Red Miner is a performance optimized cryptocurrency miner for AMD GPUs with support for a number of algorithms with the latest version 0.7.1 bringing support for the KAWPOW algorithm used by Ravencoin (RVN) as well as introduces support for Navi GPUs for KAWPOW and Ethash. TeamRedMiner is the 4th software (after WildRig Multi, nanominer and NBMiner) for mining Ravencoin (RVN) after its fork to the new KAWPOW algorithm on AMD GPUs. And it certainly makes a good appearance with its initial support getting it the top spot in terms of performance at least in our test o RX 580 GPUs where it outperformed the competition with at least 1 MH/s over the second fastest miner.
Expected hashrates for KAWPOW:
– RX 5700XT: 28+ MH/s
– Radeon VII: 40+ MH/s
– RX Vega56/64: 25+ MH/s
– RX 580: 14+ MH/s
– RX 570: 13+ MH/s
The miner is available for both Windows and Linux operating systems, a closed source software with 2.5% to 3% development fee built-in for all algos except Ethash and KAWPOW, for KAWPOW it is 2% and for Ethash on Polaris GPUs the dev fee is 0.75% and on all other GPUs is 1.0%.

The latest WildRig Multi 0.24.0 Beta AMD GPU miner is just what the doctor ordered for Ravencoin (RVN) miners with AMD GPU as it is taking the top spot in terms of hashrate with the latest performance updates. At least with the default settings it is on par with what the previous fastest AMD miner for KAWPOW – nanominer manages to provide you in terms of hashrate on RX 4×0/5×0 series of GPUs, as far as the newer Navi cards are concerned it is possible that the latest nanominer is still better. The new version also brings two alternative kernels for KAWPOW that you can try to see if you can get a bit of extra performance from your hardware, you can set them with the --progpow-kernel
command line option with values 1 and 2 respectively. The second one worked better in our tests providing us with higher and more stable hashrate compared to the first and the default kernel.
The latest WildRig Multi is currently available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux and HiveOS as a closed source binary and with a 1% developer fee built-in by default, however have in mind that the following algorithms are still with 2% dev fee – lyra2TDC, sha256csm, x17r and wildkeccak.

A couple of days ago the z-enemy 2.5 miner was released as an updated version that introduced support for the KAWPOW algorithm that Ravencoin (RVN) has forked a couple of days ago. The z-enemy miner was not the first to support KAWPOW and was not the fastest as we were kind of used to often see when RVN was using the older X16 algorithm. It is good to see that more work has been put to the miner and the latest z-enemy 2.6.1 is right on rack to regain its fame from the good old days of Ravencoin mining when it was our preferred choice for a X16 miner.
The latest updates of the z-enemy regarding KAWPOW support bring faster initialization on multi-gpu rigs, performance improvements of a few percent, smoother gpu/power load and higher default intensity value increased from 20 to 21 for GTX 1070/1080 series as well as some miscellaneous improvements in the miner interface and general features. As far as performance is concerned, we definetly see an improvement, though still a bit more hashrate boost might be required for the miner to reclaim its top performance place.
The latest z-enemy version 2.6.1 is available for Nvidia CUDA 9.1, 9.2, 10.0 and 10.1 for 64-bit Windows versions and Linux. Make sure that you have the respective recent video driver version installed for the CUDA version you want to use – 388+ for 9.1, 397+ for 9.2 and 411 or newer for CUDA 10.0 or the latest ones for CUDA 10.1. We remind you that the z-enemy is a closed source miner software, is available only as a binary release, supports only Nvidia GPUs and it also contains a 1% developer fee built-in to support further software development.
