ZeusMiner has started a closed beta testing of their new ZeusHash cloud mining platform, we have been using the old basic Scrypt cloud mining service they have been offering for a bit, the same platform that they used for hosted miners. So we are really looking forward in seeing what they have to offer in the new version after the closed beta test finishes, which according to them should take about a week before the platform is open for everyone. It seems that the new ZeusHash cloud mining platform will offer both Scrypt and SHA-256 cloud mining options and there will apparently also be a trading functionality to sell your hashrate. The prices are $0.889 USD per GHS for Bitcoin mining hashrate and $15.99 USD per MHS for Litecoin mining hashrate. ZeusMiner is still selling Scrypt cloud mining hahrate that will be allocated in the old platform for the moment, but once the new one is open it will most likely be moved there.

A few questions is it worth buying some MHS here?

Can i choose how much i can sell for or is it for the same price as you buy it?

We don’t yet have access to the Beta of the new ZenHash, so unfortunately we do not know any details…

Don’t buy. Zeus are unreliable at best. I was given a test user with a small amount of btc and cannot withdraw.

The amount in BTC you get inside the account is probably to be used for purchasing some hashrate to try out the service, not to withdraw it to your wallet… and this is a closed beta to test the service, so there could still be some bugs and problems that need to be resolved.

I want to make a note on maintenance fees from the official FAQ (https://zeushash.com/about#faq). The fee is $0.003 per day per GH for Bitcoin (1.5x higher than Hashlets) and $0.059 per day per MH for Litecoin (directly mined and 26.25% lower than Hashlets). I would recommend buying MH only from Zeushash for the lower fee, but they do not have Zencloud’s profits and directly mine LTC with payout in LTC (better for coin stability than selling it to BTC).

I wonder if the 4Gh/s for life for the first 100 registered users applies to the 400 closed beta testers who have currently been given 2 Gh/s in BTC. I will give an update a couple days after public registration time.

My favorite profit calculator despite underestimating the difficulty increase by a small margin, but directly applies to Zeushash (Zencloud is about 1.8x higher than actual hashrate before fees): http://www.vnbitcoin.org/litecoincalculator.php
